The campaign is pleasingly varied, the multiplayer contains a slew of fantastic modes and is very moreish, and Zombies is as furiously challenging as ever, making Black Ops 6 a winner on all fronts.

There’s no denying that new features like omnimovement enhances its stellar and addictive multiplayer and zombies modes, but underdeveloped characters and a story that starts off strong with a poor conclusion makes you soon realise that Activision is still relying on its strong fidelity and gunplay to carry the franchise. Ironically, the game’s biggest strength is its biggest weakness – it succeeded at being your typical Call of Duty game.

However, its multiplayer is a disaster and a major letdown for a game like this.

Com uma ótima campanha, um multiplayer super dinâmico e um modo Zumbis divertido e cooperativo, o novo jogo da Treyarch é exatamente o que esperamos de um Call of Duty tradicional. Claro, o jogo não é isento de problemas, como estar integrado em um launcher confuso, cheio de opções, que ocupa muito espaço no SSD do PlayStation 5, e a ausência de um troféu de platina, já que ele é interpretado pelo aplicativo principal quase como uma expansão e não como um produto individual. Além disso, há alguns bugs de interface, e o sistema de respawn precisa ser aprimorado.

So much that I could easily have been content with the multiplayer maps and Zombies gameplay offered at launch all the way up until whatever Call of Duty 2025 turns out to be is announced. Yet somehow, I get to sit here and know that there are going to be around 6 seasons of new content heading our way in the coming year. More maps to explore, new weapons to try—and that’s without even considering Warzone integration, which is merely weeks away. I couldn’t be more excited about the future of Black Ops 6.

Το κοινό φαίνεται να συμφωνεί με την Treyarch (και τα άλλα πολλά, πολλά studio που δουλεύουν υποστηρικτικά όπως σε κάθε κυκλοφορία), κάτι που φαίνεται και από τα στατιστικά που δημοσιεύονται από την Activision. Αυτό που όμως που φαίνεται για όποιον κοιτάξει ανάμεσα στις γραμμές, είναι ότι η σειρά φαίνεται να χρειάζεται ουσιαστική ανανέωση. Το νέο σύστημα κίνησης είναι ένα βήμα προς τη σωστή κατεύθυνση, αλλά δεν είναι αρκετό για να κάνει τον τίτλο «φρέσκο». Και πάνε πάρα πολλά χρόνια από τότε που ένα Call of Duty μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί ως έτσι. Από την άλλη βέβαια, πόσες αλλαγές μπορεί να δεχθεί μέχρι να σταματήσει να είναι… Call of Duty;

Rest assured that Black Ops 6 lies at the better end of the series' spectrum, boasting a varied campaign that's well worth playing, a pair of robust and endlessly replayable Zombies maps, and multiplayer that remains immediate and immensely entertaining.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
