- The reworked zombies mode is just one reason to get the Havoc DLC pack. The best reason to get it lies in the four new maps, which have a lot of replay value not only for team deathmatch, but the other modes as well. Each one works perfectly for at least one match type and a couple of them are some of the best maps yet in the series. If you’ve taken a bit of a break from Advanced Warfare, fall back in love with it by picking up the Havoc pack.
Jeremy Peeples · Feb 05, 2015 Reviewed on XB1, X360Read full review - The Call of Duty downloadable content season is off to yet another solid, albeit a tad underwhelming start. “Havok” comes across as more of the same old featuring four maps, a new weapon and an Exo Zombie mode featuring the likes of John Malkovich and Bill Paxton. Sledgehammer has not strayed from the classic CoD DLC formula. They have taken a conservative, safe approach with this map pack. This however should be enough to keep all those CoD fans happy until the next batch of DLC drops.
Trevor Houston · Jan 30, 2015 Reviewed onRead full review - Zombie modes have the tendency to come out of the gate slowly, and although the first map doesn't have any real "out there" concepts, it's more than enough for those of you who still want more of the undead. The maps alone in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC are an average affair, but Exo Zombies rises this package slightly above the cut. I love the new cast, the Exosuits makes a world of difference, and I'm digging the Hollywood cheese of the story.
Chris Carter · Jan 29, 2015 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Advanced Warfare's first map pack, Havoc, doesn't quite have the fit and finish that the game launched with. A lack of available playlists is a big bummer for anyone who doesn't want to play the handful of available modes. Sledgehammer could take a few cues from Treyarch for the extension of this zombie storyline... if there is one.
William Schwartz · Jan 29, 2015 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Advanced Warfare has kept the core Call Of Duty gameplay intact, merged it with a couple of new innovations and the result is a fun but strangely familiar experience. But it isn’t going to be the industry revolution that Modern Warfare managed to become, so only time will tell if it has the legs to compete with the likes of Titanfall and Destiny.
Now Gamer · Nov 03, 2014 Reviewed on XB1 - Those deeply entrenched in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer component have likely already invested in this selection, but for anybody else, the Havoc pack delivers exactly what it says on the tin, with the stress-inducing Exo Zombies mode, some great new maps and a beefy weapon to add to the loadout. It's certainly a good indication of the quality to expect from Sledgehammer's next three DLC instalments.
Gareth F · Mar 22, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - If the quality of the output remains this good, Advanced Warfare may be the first Call of Duty in years to actually deserve the purchase of the Season Pass. It adds some key stuff, including zombies, which will no doubt tempt even the stingiest of DLC shoppers. Whatever you're willing to pay for it, you won't be disappointed when you finally pull the trigger.
Mat Growcott · Mar 03, 2015 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - And Havoc's a very decent package overall. As part one of the Season Pass, this is a strong chunk of content for the sharpest COD in years. It mixes fan service with proper map design, and gives those still addicted to that ADS snap more reason than ever to keeping plugging away towards that next prestige.
