    This 2013 edition won't be different at all, and it somehow upgrades its predecessor. Batting and pitching experience have been improved, player vs players matches are smoother (though limited to a certain number per day) and there are more items in the shop.

    Throw in the required Wi-Fi connection to play and a Gamevil account to take part in PvP matches, and Baseball Superstars 2013 is a mess. To be fair, we didn't play past titles in the series and therefore have nothing to compare it too, but the goal is to delete this app off our smartphones and tablets post haste. In the end, just because you boast of having 45 million downloads doesn't mean you make quality games.

    Baseball Superstars 2013 finds a way to hook players in though bite-sized game sessions, and keep them coming back for inning after inning. This is a worthy successor to the franchise’s throne and sure to coax another few million downloads from iOS gamers. Why not make yourself one of them?
