- Art of Rally is a rally racing game with an amazing atmosphere, several fun game modes that range from casual to hardcore, and deep gameplay customization settings.
NimbleThor · May 11, 2024 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - This stylish rally racer has a hard time keeping pace with its mobile peers.
Campbell Bird · Jan 25, 2024 Reviewed on - In its current state, Art of Rally on iOS is sadly not a great port. This should have been the definitive portable version of a superb racer, but it is just in between the bad Switch version and the great Steam Deck version. Performance and visual issues aside, it doesn’t even have good touch controls. I got used to them, but I’d recommend this with a controller for now. Noodlecake is usually great, so this is a rare misstep from the team. I hope it does get fixed because Art of Rally is worth owning and playing at full price, but I can’t recommend on iOS without some caveats unfortunately despite the low asking price on mobile.
Mikhail Madnani · Jan 24, 2024 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Sure, art of rally is about the fun of rallying, but if it does put the focus on car handling and other sim-inspired elements, it should further refine the corner-cutting system too. It’s not cheating, it’s just a way to improve your racing times.
Bogdan Popa · Oct 20, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Art of Rally's standout mode comes from free roam, which sets itself apart as an exploration based option where you can freely drive in an open area and search for collectibles. While there are no rewards for finding everything, this mode is easily the most enjoyable, and it has potential for the series’ future.
Brett Posner-Ferdman · Oct 12, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - It's an intuitive, deceptively deep, and far more entertaining racing experience than it has any right to be. Vitally, however, Art of Rally has spurred me on to finally find out what the hell my blood type actually is.
Richard Walker · Oct 10, 2021 Reviewed on PS5, PS4Read full review - Art of Rally is one of the most unique rally games ever made, and it’s all the better for it. It defies your expectations by being a pretty serious game at its heart, despite being fun and light-hearted on its exterior. And yet while it is challenging, it’s also relaxing at times, with its mix of minimalistic visuals, disarming music and lower-stress rally action almost putting you into a trance when everything aligns.
Richard Seagrave · Oct 07, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Art of Rally is that rarest of things: the video game as essay.
Josh Wise · Aug 17, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - At its heart, art of rally is a solid racing experience with a good assortment of cars to try, tracks to tackle and handling that’s both challenging yet satisfying. Unfortunately, the visuals struggle massively on Nintendo Switch resulting in a game that looks fine at best and barren at worst. This is easily the weakest version of the game and if you own an Xbox Series or PC you’re better off going for those superior versions.
Ryan Janes · Aug 17, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Despite its obvious visual shortcomings art of rally is still a nice looking game regardless; the gameplay, of course, shines through brightest, making this one of the most authentic, challenging rally titles in some time. The incredible music makes the price of admission worth it alone, and if you’re after a surprisingly nuanced, deep rally game, this is the one to go for.
