  • Overall I found Aliens Fireteam Elite to be a pleasurable experience with only a few hiccups. The graphics are on point, the audio keeps very well planned to keep with the theme and feel over the series.

  • Despite issues with repetition, Aliens: Fireteam Elite delivers where it counts; in its core gameplay. When you’re in the moment, obliterating hundreds of enemies using iconic weapons, against the backdrop of stunning locations that tap into the amazing cinematography the Alien franchise is known for, any shortcomings almost seem irrelevant.

  • I had a lot of hope for Aliens: Fireteam Elite but will not make the same mistake again. As strong as the source material is, Alien games just statistically don’t manage to deliver. It wasn’t until the second chapter when I was fighting off androids that I started to have a little bit of fun. But to be frank, that was the most disappointing part of all.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a very fun game to play together with friends. It’s fun to see your progress and to try out the different classes, while slowly ramping up the difficulty level. We do have to mention that as a single-player experience it falls a bit flat, as the AI isn’t that skilled to help you through many of the harder levels. The game is quite fun but a bit short and is best enjoyed together with other people. Those who can immediately dive into the experience with a full party will very much enjoy this game.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a thin co-op horde shooter with an Aliens skin. And for many, that’ll be exactly what they are looking for. This looks and sounds the part of the 80s action classic and will tickle those nostalgia senses. However, for true Alien heads like myself, delving deeper into Cold Iron Studios shooter will reveal a game with a deep love and admiration for the franchise. And with a solid co-op shooter on top of that, this is an Alien fans delight.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite could have been a much better game but its many bugs and glitches, and strange design decisions hold it back from shining.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite is in no way the failure that Colonial Marines was. It’s a fun squad shooter with just about enough features at launch to keep you coming back to replay missions and tackle the horde mode. However, it’s not the strongest game of its type and really doesn't seem to fit the license.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite sits squarely in the middle of other Alien games. There’s certainly worse out there, but there is also much better. It’s an uninspired struggle through a tired gameplay loop that just happens to be slathered in Alien slime and plays like one of the older Gear of Wars.

  • That being said; the sounds in the game are great and immerse you in the setting and the graphics while not eye-popping are very solid and enjoyable.

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a fast-paced Alien-based game with solid gameplay but limiting options.
