jinxed · Nov 29, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead je jedno horor remek delo koje sadrži originalni recept ovog žanra – napetost, jezivu atmosferu i odličnu stealth mehaniku. Ukoliko ste se pitali kako je živeti u svetu koji je utihnuo iz istoimenog serijala filmova, ova igra će vam odlično dočarati jezivu svakodnevnicu preživljavanja.
Luka Rakočević · Nov 28, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead provides much fun in terms of gameplay. The game drew me in from the first moment and it kept my attention till the very end, which doesn’t happen very often. Moreover, it has beautiful graphics. On the other hand, some inconsistencies are discernible in the title’s worldbuilding, but they mostly come from the source material. All in all, I recommend this game.
Dagmara Kottke · Nov 21, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead perfectly captures the essense of the popular film franchise, but it unfortunately doesn't make for a great game. Many will find the horror action here simply too slow and frustrating, especially when you factor in the protagonist's asthma.
Richard Seagrave · Nov 19, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Does it make for a compelling videogame? Despite a few shortcomings, I feel that it does, as the game’s excellent graphics and tense atmosphere put a nice little ribbon on the package. But this isn’t a game for everyone, and not just because of the (optional) microphone gimmick, so beware what you get yourself into. I still think it’s one of the most unique and memorable horror games in recent times, which is something that mostly makes up for the other flaws found.
Győző Baki · Nov 12, 2024 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead comes across as, more or less, a prime example of a movie tie-in game that is somewhat on the bright side of these games, but which isn't saying much in itself when considering the overall quality possessed by such creations. The gameplay has the right ideas to properly convey the spirit of the films, but the weakness in the creation of the monsters themselves is evident. The result is that the monster looks more like a gimmick than a believably deadly presence. Although it will manage to create anxiety on several occasions, it ultimately fails to deliver anything memorable.
Νικολας Μαρκογλου · Nov 12, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Stealth fans might find enough entertainment in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, thanks to moments of decent immersion and sound manipulation, but inconsistent and shallow mechanics hold it back.
Ben Thomas · Nov 10, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - While The Road Ahead nails its survival mechanics, it ultimately falls short in narrative and gameplay depth. An immersive experience, but one with lasting impact.
Cole Podany · Nov 07, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - While the story is forgettable and the gameplay can get repetitive, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a surprisingly nice treat for fans of the franchise. It doesn't reinvent the wheel for horror games when it comes to the hide-and-seek genre, but it does have some nice mechanics. Playing with your mic on has its merits and challenges, and the game does try to keep you interested as Alex faces new areas and challenges. Avoiding the full AAA price point was a smart move for the game - for the $30 price tag, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead has just enough to charm.
