  • More than just a cozy farming sim, eight years of updates have grown Stardew Valley into a modern classic with an endless list of enticing activities to complete and a deeply satisfying time management challenge to take on.

  • Stardew Valley is a mobile port of the popular indie PC farming simulator RPG by the same name in which we must take care of a plot of land inherited from our grandfather. This includes catching fish, growing crops, raising chickens and cows, and then selling it all for gold to expand the farm. But Stardew Valley is much more than a farming simulator. It’s an adventure game. And as we start exploring, we get to know and help a variety of interesting characters around town by completing their quests and slowly uncovering the mysteries the game-world has to offer.

  • Stardew Valley is the game that most of the people wished to have in a mobile format and despite the apparent flaws it still represents one of the smoothest transitions from desktop to mobile. And that only is good enough reason to try it.

  • Neither of these things will stop me from giving Stardew Valley my absolute highest recommendations. This game is so good it’s stupid, and is my most played game on my Switch. As I mentioned in the preview, the best version of Stardew Valley is the one you have with you, so even with some minor control issues at launch, I wouldn’t be surprised if I also clock in hundreds of hours of play in this version of the game. Again, if you’re the kind of person who often complains about free to play games and the lack of depth in mobile games, do not hesitate to put your money where your mouth is and buy Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley is a beautiful, fun game that, when all of its parts are pulled together, make for a wonderful countryside adventure. Whether it’s rainy, sunny, snowy, or dusted with pollen drifts through the air, each day offers an abundance of great activities ready to be collected or mastered and new friendships waiting to be made.

  • The real challenge with Stardew Valley is putting the game down. Once you get started on this fun farming adventure, itu2019s hard to stop. Stardew Valley is also an awesome game to have with you at all times so portable mode is a major plus!

  • Stardew Valley is one of those games I could write about for pages and pages. Whatever the next day had in store for me whether it was harvesting, fishing, exploring the mines or simply running a quick errand for a friend, I couldn’t stop playing. The constant pull to earn money or better my relationship with the townspeople or just make my farm the best it could possibly be was a constant and something that continues to bring me back even now. Stardew Valley is a delightfully charming and deep experience and easily one of the Nintendo eShop’s best.

  • Stardew Valley brings a mix of farming and life simulation to the Switch and the platform is absolutely perfect for it. Being able to pick up and play the game for a quick bus ride allows you to get in a quick meeting with a couple of people or take care of some light farming. Then you can play at home and enjoy it on a TV screen to really absorb yourself in the adventure.

  • Despite the occasional glitch, Stardew Valley is a welcome addition to the Switch’s quickly growing library. I’ve played over 30 hours of the game, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. More crops are always available to grow, more upgrades are ripe for boosting my farm, and more minerals are mine to mine. It’s a game I can see myself coming back to time and time again for years, and that’ll be easy to do with the portable nature of the Switch. It’s a masterpiece, and a perfect game for Nintendo’s newest console.

  • Smooth framerates, clear, crisp sound and every feature of its original at home or on the go. Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch emphasizes everything that makes the Switch so much fun, the best comparison to Stardew Valley on the Switch, would be Pean
