This game is just so hard to achieve the goal especially when you're just a newcomer, not so good at aiming, and get the payload at the right time. Well, my experience is fun yet endless deaths. Haha. But there are times that I killed 5 heroes and sometimes 0 kills. 5v5 is very chaotic though when you played with players who're good at shooting. Deathmatch is the best. Now, all I could say is you have to play this on your PC with good specs. Paladins is very nice game to play with good players. For those players who wants to play a lot in shooting using amazing guns, this is a must-try. Good news! This is free on Steam.

Overwatch look-alike!

When I heard of “Hero shooter”, the first game that came out of my mind was this. I played this game on Xbox for like 24 hours before I stopped playing. After a year, i heard of the gen lock update on Paladins and i decided to try it again on PC. I didn't know I could be this addicted to a game other than csgo.

It's similar to “Overwatch”, and most people will compare both games. They are unique it their own ways.

**Hero/Characters:** There are a lot of heroes in this game and each having their own unique passive, skill, and skin to unlock. Some characters have a special ability, like throwing a firebomb and dealing with fire damage. Each character has their own card system. The card system is very hard to explain, and I recommend checking a video or researching it. You can unlock the character skin by levelling it up by killing and completing a match.

Some heroes have a jetpack or something that makes them fly, and some are able to jump multiple times. The thing I like about paladin's heroes are the type of them, there is a dragon and random species of animal or some type, and it makes the game unique to overwatch, overwatch's heroes are usually humans, not all, by most. Some heroes can go invisible and it's so annoying when I'm extremely close to killing them, and they just go invisible and run away. September 14,2021. There are 51 playable heroes in the game.

One thing that I dislike about paladins is “Game modes” There are

*   Siege.
* Onslaught - King of the Hill.
*   Team Deathmatch.

Sometimes, there are limited time modes. There are a limited amount of game modes to choose from, as there are bots, but you versus bots with real player teammates. You'll easily get bored by playing team-deathmatch every single day. If there are limited gamemodes, it usually lasts for a few days. And it's a shame for new players, they will get bored very easily. Though there's a ranked mode for competitive players.

Plus, heroes are constantly added to each update. Or maybe a new season with new quests and gamemodes to look forward to. And free stuff.

The game is mostly team-based and if your teammates are constantly going solo and dying from enemies teaming up, it's really hard to win the game.

Why you should play Paladins:

* Crossplay with consoles and Pc.
* Constantly gets updates from time to time adding new seasons or new heroes.
* Great player base, barely seen any cheaters in this game.
* Amazingly designed characters with each having a nice voice lines.

Other stuff I can't think of, here's a description of why you should play : "Why should I play Paladins?

While it's also classified as a first-person shooter, **Paladins has a card system to upgrade your abilities**. ... These upgrades give Paladins more of a MOBA feel, than a typical shoot, kill, win thought process."

"With over 25 million registered players, Paladins is one of the most successful free to play shooters and is **well worth a play for any fan of the hero shooter genre**. Despite Paladin's similarity to Overwatch, it is unique enough to make it worth a play for even the most diehard Overwatch fans."

And i don't see the game dying any time soon. You can't really customise stuff in the game, with very few settings options. It's mostly about binds and graphics.

And overwatch doesn't really update very often, leading to people getting bored and some switching to paladins, as most people say, "Unlike overwatch, which feel completely abandoned by its owners, Paladins feels **alive and active** as ever."

You should really try paladins if you haven't already, it's still a great time to play the game, it's completely free but there are a lot of microtransactions. And it's not pay to win, which is good.

So I came across Paladins on steam... I said that game looks fun and so I read things about it. People where calling it the poor man's Overwatch or the Bootleg Overwatch. Since I wanted to play Overwatch but didn't have the funds at the times I downloaded Paladins for free on Steam. I instantly loved it...the characters and their unique abilities. I started to go for the achievements on steam and was enjoying what this beta game had to offer. After a week or two I stopped playing it and moved on to other games. Eventually it came out on the ps4 with trophies and I told my friend about it and we both purchased the game and played through it together. He claimed he liked Paladins more than Overwatch because it had that underground feeling to it where it wasn't as known. Each character in the game has unique abilities and classes to use. If you choose the right set up and stick to your characters class type you can destroy your enemies. But if you pick a support character and try to be a tank I feel sorry for you. And that is what makes Paladins so good to me that each character has strengths and weaknesses. The great thing about Paladins is that it is fun period....the characters are great the matches are fun but the game is still in beta and has some issues. Such as game crashes or trophy glitches your stats not updating properly...minor things. But overall I did get the platinum trophy which only had a few hard trophies (such as Bounty Hunter). Overall I recommend Paladins to anyone who likes team shooters with classes in them...such as OVERWATCH lol. If your looking for a game with a strong story or campaign then this might not be for you. I give Paladins 4/5 Stars Highly Recommended Pros Lots of great characters to choose from. Lots of items to collect (outfits, weapons, cards, skins) Fun as hell. Cons Game Crashes randomly and there is not campaign mode The queue can take a few minutes and there is not many levels to play Sometimes the penalty for not joining a game is drastic

I give Paladins 4/5 Stars
Highly Recommended

Pros
Lots of great characters to choose from.

Lots of items to collect (outfits, weapons, cards, skins)

Fun as hell.

Cons
Game Crashes randomly and there is not campaign mode

The queue can take a few minutes and there is not many levels to play

Sometimes the penalty for not joining a game is drastic

It's almost unplayable on switch. Too much lags, framerate drops and freezes. It's a great game but on switch too many technical problems. I don't know if the other platforms are having the same problems as well.
