**SOUND/AUDIO 9/10**

While some audio elements can feel repetitive, I can't find myself muting it. The music doesn't have a huge effect on the gameplay but you start to miss it while playing. Plus you need to properly listen to your surroundings. I commend the team behind the foley giving attention to all of the details when interacting with a world as huge as this.

**VISUALS 8/10**

Hear me out, I know most would be disappointed by its appearance at first glance. But as someone with an average, or below average, set up I'm glad Project Zomboid didn't make it as taxing on the graphics. Else, this would be a barrier of entry for a lot of players (myself included).

**INTERFACE 8/10**

Glad to have come across a game which adapted the commands as you would be using your computer normally. Not a lot of games give you the option to use the RMB for more options on a certain item. But then again, with the number of things you may find use of an item, it would make sense to have done it this way. Like most games, navigating through them would need some getting used to but not as difficult as most games I've tried in the past.

**GAMEPLAY 10/10**

Where do I even begin? There is so much to do in this survival game as it is as realistic as it gets. From managing your wares to your sanity (yes, it has that too). Project Zomboid doesn't have pre-frabricated characters like in DST but the multitude of characteristics and pros and cons you get from them may add up to how you experience this apocalypse. The area/map, the seasons, the time of day also affects how you're experiencing the game. And as you would expect from an open-world survival game, the possibilities and lists of things to do are just endless and it promises that you never get the same runs like you would the previous. Every moment will be it's own unique event for you.

**CONCLUSION 8.75/10**

The level of depth in PZ is what makes it more than, if not at all, an ordinary zombie survival game. What I love most about PZ is that when you play with friends/others, you have the freedom to choose how you could play it in the midst of the game. Roles are actually important here since your characteristics can add up to how efficient you can be. While Project Zomboid paints a good picture of how screwed we are in a zombie apocalypse, it's one where I find myself coming back to. There is always that hopeful feeling of "things are gonna be different this time" whenever I jump in, and it has become a game where I find comfort in despite the situation. I cannot explain it. Perhaps it's something you won't be able to comprehend unless you experience it. There are a number of people who play it for different reasons. After all, PZ has so much to offer, that it feels different for different people. And if a game gives you an experience that you seek to come back to? It is a great game in my book.
