Roboquest reminds me of titanfall's movement and the graphics reminds me of borderland, and roboquest is pretty similar to both games.

**Story:** The game start with a comic-like cutscene, with a girl finding a robot in the middle of the desert, she then proceed to fix it and then, comes you. With only one mission, save the world from robots with guns and stuff that tries to kill you.

And there's one thing which makes me a little bored while playing the game, there's no story, while other rogulite/like has a little bit of story which interests the player and makes them find out more about it.. And as they progress, they learned more about the character they are playing and the world they are living in.

While Roboquest has none of that, it makes me feel like i'm doing for the same of doing it, there's no reason why i'm killing robots. Which makes me a little bored while playing the game.

**Combat:** One concept, all roguelike games should have, and It's **Good combat system.** and Roboquest manages to fulfill that. The combat and Graphics kinda reminds me of "gunfire reborn" a roguelite game i reviewed at 2021. It's Gun system and movement is pretty similar to roboquest.

**Guns:** There are multiple weapons to choose in this game, starting with guns with tech lazer, explosive guns,Normal guns like the ar,smgs and there are even throwing knives.

And as you proceed through the Dungeon, you can't "upgrade" your gun, you have to find the same gun but different modifiers and better tier than yours.... which is very bad and boring, i want to use the same gun through the entire dungeon as the game has a modifier which is extremely broken, only thing is, it can't be upgraded, so it will do the same damage the entire game unless i switch it out. And the enemies get harder and harder as you proceed.

**It takes about 1-5 hours to complete the game, i completed the game at my second run, because i was extremely lucky with my guns and upgrades.**

There are also wrenches in the game which are used to permanently buy workshops which are use for upgrading your character or giving you additional buffs. And you get this wrenches during your run, by completing trails which are like dangerous dungeons you'll face. And at the end, is loot and rewards. And like i said earlier to, **it's very similar to Gunfire Reborn.**

**Another thing, which is similar, is the fact that you can play with your friends or solo. It's almost too similar**.

And there are different characters you can choose from, but you have to unlocked them first, the way to unlock them is to defeat different bosses and reach a checkpoint to unlock them for your next run, each character has different skill.. And the default character has bubble shield which makes you don't take damage for a few seconds. Which is pretty broken.

The game is on Xboxgamepass and for the few hours of experience, it's worth it, you might rage a little.

The game is still on early access, things may change during development. There are only a few bosses and a few levels. The game has yet to end. OTHER THAN THAT, THE GAME IS WORTH it.
