I'm a PC gamer and never played any uncharted game before. TBH I did not enjoy this game. It felt boring to me, there are very less gunfights, action sequences and most of the time you are doing exploration itself by climbing and jumping. I enjoyed the Tomb Raider franchise much more specifically if I compare Rise of the Tomb Raider with this game.

Got Bored Soon

Naughty Dog bundles the penultimate adventures of your favourite gun-slinging treasure hunter Nathan Drake along with collector of antiquities Chloe Frazer in Uncharted: Legacy of Theives collection.

Pros:

* The graphics on the base game were already great and lifelike, however this collection improves the graphics even further, blurring the line between game and reality. This collection is fully able to utilise the HDR uses of the PS5 to its full capability.

* There are three graphics modes available in the game: Fidelity, Performance and Performance+, which allow the player to experience the game however they want to, with

    * Fidelity mode displaying the game in a native 4K resolution with 40 fps.

    * Performance being the 'mediator' of the modes, displaying the game at 1440p and aiming at 60fps

    * Performance+ mode focussing on the frame rate as the game displays at a locked 1080p but with 120 fps.

* The stories of the game are fleshed out properly as older gamers would remember, the exploration of Henry Avery's treasure by the Drake brothers and finding the Tusk of Ganesh by the pairing of Chloe and Nadine. Both adventures have a detailed and intricate stories with plotlines that intertwine from one game to the next.

* The loading times were a big concern on the base PS4 versions, however, with the power of the PS5's SSD, loading times are nearly non-existent in this version which greatly benefits this collection, culminating in an overall uninterrupted, cohesive experience.

* There are a lot of customisation options in both the games in respect to character costumes, skins, gameplay and visual modes. It greatly increases the replayability of the games.

* There are encounter modes available for the player to replay the shooting moments of the game with ease.

Cons:

* The main complaint a lot of gamers have with this collection is that they removed the survival and online modes of both the games which greatly affects the replayability of the game adversely. The lack of the internet aspect is highly disappointing.

* There is not much else to do after completing the game aside from replaying the encounter missions.

* There are no character model swaps in the missions like in the previous Nathan Drake collection which is unsatisfactory.

* The game is basically a collection with both the previous stories, and therefore doesn't offer anything new. So for players who already have the base games will not experience anything novel.

Regardless, the Legacy of Theives Collection is a must-have for Uncharted veterans as the gameplay is exceptional and the stories are amazing. This collection also provides new players with a chance to experience these two games if they haven't yet so far.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

I love this franchise ever since the first Uncharted game came out. Game+Movie experience is the best.
