Sky: Children of the Light

This is literally the cutest, most exiting, most extensive, and most immersive game I've ever played, and somehow it's free?!? Me and my boyfriend played this together recently and we LOVE it!!! It's a long game with tons of replay opportunities and its design is so beautiful! Very basic and simple but designed so well! The only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is because there are some technical issues, such as disconnecting player parties when they're too far apart or... I don't know, whenever it feels like? That has been our biggest struggle. Otherwise, amazing game!!!

Probably the only Massively Multiplayer Online game that your mom would love, and for good reason, yet it still appeals to gamers. At its core, it's a collectathon that relies on the beauty of its maps, music and ambiance to make the collecting enjoyable. It also lets all players work together to accomplish this goal, and others, which leads into the top notch MMO mechanics - people can't even see your outfit without your consent. Then, if you do consent to that, you can consent to being allowed to add each other as friends, allowing you to hold hands and adventure together easier. Then, you can high five, or hug. It's only after that that you can finally talk to each other! Most importantly, you can stop at any point in this process, and still have fulfilling relationships. Sometimes, you have a friend who's never spoken a single word, and you just play together, and it works. This is by far the most pro-player practice I've ever seen in a multiplayer game, and it needs to be adopted elsewhere.

The story works as both an ongoing saga and a single experience, so if you don't want to get into this, I still recommend "beating" it - you can uninstall after and still have had an excellent experience, no money required. In fact, that may be smarter, since the game can definitely encourage players to spend a lot on aesthetic IAPs. They don't use gambling mechanics or manipulation, but there's a lot to buy, for those who have to have it all.

Overall, though, I wouldn't trade my memories made in Sky for anything. It's a beautiful place that attracts respectful and interesting people - especially ones who you never would have met otherwise, due to the translation features and global appeal. I can't recommend it highly enough.

A triumph in MMO design and accessibility

**Sky Children Of The Light** is one of the most beautiful games that I've ever played. When you get tired of grinding and need some relaxation, you can play this cozy game. I have played this game for more than 6 months & still playing. From playing till now, what I experienced in that game is that the community is so wholesome & majority of the players are helpful to newbies. I might be wrong but what I believe is that they have kept some parts of the game intentionally unexplained, so that you interact with new players & play together. It's like once when you're a beginner player & a veteran or experienced player helps you & makes you capable enough that you can help a newbie one day kindof concept which I found very unique. Moreover, I got a chance to attend a virtual in-game music concert of a well known artist **Aurora,** which was a phenomenal experience. Partnering with Aurora was not only their project but in the past, they even did a collaboration with a company called **Ocean Cleanup** for a social cause, as the name already says it was for Ocean Pollution. Recently, the game successfully completed it's **4** **years** of their journey & players are enjoying the gameplay & loving the fascinating features as well as limited time events that they keep on adding after each update.

**Pros**:

1. It consists of amazing graphics, calming environment, not so complicated & simplistic style gameplay, ambient music, beautiful scenery, pretty artstyle and lots of other cool stuff.

2. Free to play without any ads,

3. Crossplay is available,

4. Widely available - Apart from Xbox, currently the game is available everywhere - Soon on Pc (Wishlist on Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Android & iOS and

5. Plenty of interactive features like mini games, playing musical instruments, exploring, funny, caring, friendly emotes, etc.

**Cons**:

1. There are some bugs in that game because of which, a newbie might get confused between a real player & a hacker. But, the bad news is there are also hackers. So, being a newbie player, you have to be careful in making friends.

2. This is not fully con, but this is a somewhat pay to play game. But wait don't judge too early, there are some exclusive areas which can be only accessible, if you acquire a certain paid in-game item with real currency. But the good news is if your friend has that specific item, you might be able to access it too by playing with them.

3. Again, this is from perspective to perspective. I like to explore a lot, but in this game, the story I felt is too short. Within a week, one can complete this game (the main story - completion of realms) depending on their gameplay time. But on a positive note, for this, they are adding new areas,

4. This is an optional & personal choice. In-game items are expensive. You need to grind for hours to collect the resources & within a moment, all your grinding gets spent on those cosmetics items and

5. Repetitive Gameplay - After completing everything, when you've nothing left to do, you might feel bored because of the repetitive gameplay. At one point, all you have to do is complete daily missions or seasonal quests. But as you know everyday is a new day. There is no fixed pattern to play this game. Go Solo, With Friends, Do missions, Don't do, Simply roam everywhere, Play music, Play with your friends or Make new friends. No restrictions. Hence, play it in your way.

Overall, inspite of all cons & not forgetting as well as considering the pros of the game, I will give a solid 10/10. You must give this game a try, if you're a fan of cozy, multiplayer games. It's a really special game.
