  The YoRHa Edition is exclusively for people like me, then. Late bloomers who waffled on this game until the last possible moment. This review is more or less for those people. If you haven’t pulled the trigger on NieR: Automata yet, this is the time! As a brand new player, I feel ridiculous for waiting this long to dive in. Dearth of new content or not, the Game of The YoRHa edition is a terrific good time.

  NieR:Automata remains one of the greatest games of this generation, if not of all time. And with all of the game’s content available in one complete package (for a price that’s almost half of what it would cost to buy the base game and DLC separately), there’s no excuse to not check it out now. If you’re someone who already owns the game, however, the Game of the YoRHa Edition doesn’t offer much for you to justify buying it again.

  Automata is still an incredible title that takes the medium of gaming to new highs by focusing on the relationship that players have with the media that they consume. The DLC is a bit underwhelming if viewed by itself, but slots in nicely to the rest of the game and serves its purpose as post-game content. It’s certainly underwhelming that such an experimental and genre defying game got such a by-the-numbers compilation but it’s hard to fault its original design and incredible storytelling.

  Despite how it might sound we’ve never seen such a seemingly incompatible mix of ideas and genres melded together so well. If Automata was a movie it’d be a co-production between Michael Bay and Terrence Malick. And while that sounds like the worst day ever at the cinema the chalk and cheese combination works almost perfectly as a video game.

  In questi due anni, il successo meritato del gioco e la conseguente apertura del franchise al grande pubblico gli hanno permesso di superare i tre milioni e mezzo di copie vendute e convincere gli investitori a donare a Taro libertà creativa. Per questo non vediamo l'ora di scoprire cos'ha in serbo per noi il futuro della serie, con la speranza di poter presto mettere le mani so un nuovo capitolo, sia esso un ulteriore Nier, o un nuovo Drakengard.

  Перед нами выдающаяся игра. Она может вам не нравиться, но то, что Йоко Таро обогащает всю индустрию своими смелыми идеями и концепциями, неоспоримо. В NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition есть весь контент, когда-либо выпускающийся для игры – но и всё. 15 аватаров и динамическая тема – недостаточная причина вновь тратиться даже самым преданным фанатам. Зато всех остальных я убеждаю подумать – я очень сомневаюсь, что NieR:Automata вас разочарует.

  Nier: Automata was al een fantastische game en deze Game of the YoRHa Edition is de complete, definitieve versie hiervan. Jammer genoeg is er niets nieuws te vinden voor de die hard fans, maar is er met de DLC, skins en kostuums meer dan genoeg content voor vele uren briljante gameplay en storytelling.
