I recently played Dirt 5 on Xbox Game Pass, and I have to say that while it's a typical racing game with good graphics, it didn't quite grab me the way other racing games have. Let's start with the visuals - the game does look great, with detailed environments and cars that look like they're straight out of a commercial. However, the overall presentation didn't quite capture my attention, and I found myself getting bored of the tracks quickly.

In terms of sound design, the game is solid, with engine sounds and environmental effects that are well-done. The music selection is also decent, but nothing really stood out to me.

The interaction is standard for a racing game, with controls that are responsive and easy to use. However, there's nothing particularly innovative or exciting about the game's mechanics. It's a typical racing game that doesn't really do anything to stand out from the pack.

The game's split-screen local play feature is a real highlight, and it's something that I wish more racing games had. It's always fun to play with friends or family, and having the ability to race against each other in the same room is a real treat.

Unfortunately, the lack of variety in Dirt 5 is a major drawback for me. The game doesn't offer much in the way of different race types, and the tracks start to feel repetitive after a while. It's a shame, because with more diverse tracks and more interesting challenges, this game could have been a lot more engaging.

Overall, while Dirt 5 is a decent racing game with good graphics and solid mechanics, it didn't really stand out to me. The split-screen local play is a highlight, but the lack of variety in the game makes it feel a bit lackluster. If you're looking for a typical racing game and don't mind the lack of variety, then Dirt 5 might be worth checking out - especially if you're looking for a game to play with friends locally.

A typical racing game for me.

This is the 1st game in Dirt franchise which I played. It is an arcade style racing game rather than simulation and because of this only I liked it. Has the vibes of Motorstorm games of ps2/ps3. And graphics man, I was amazed by the reflections and shadows. Better than forza horizon 4 in the graphics department. It is available in Xbox game pass. Must try it!
