Abzu is a gorgeous video game. It's so relaxing and has such a beautiful soundtrack. I love the art style and graphics, the environments are rich with life. It really gives you an appreciation for underwater life.

The game is simple and anyone could play it. Kicking back and going through this game was a really enjoyable experience.

You swim though diffrent zones and have a few nessisary objectives, with others that are optional. The game is about 2 hours long. If you enjoy relaxing video games that are visually stunning and don't require much focus to complete then this is one for you. Then again, the games so beautiful you'll no doubt be busy being captivated by it instead.

I liked the meditation spots and all different colored fishies. It was like playing "Flower" underwater. There were times I felt the game went beyond just swimming around and looking at pretty colours; sometimes it stirred something deeper. Existential dread sometimes, connectedness to nature other times.

By the end I felt calm and serene within myself.

Some cons: Need better mechanic for meditation spot; it keeps toggling to same species too many times. Also I wish the story was presented in a better, more interactive fashion.

Nice game to relax to

This is a very short yet very beautiful indie game of about 2 hours. You are a robot who has awaken from it slumber and is returning back to its home. On your way back you remove corruption from the world. The puzzles are super simple and its a very relaxing game. Highly recommended to play it in one go to blow off the steam of a hard day's work.

Cute and fun, can get kinda boring at times

Cute and fun, can get kinda boring at times

I recently finished this game on my [twitch channel](https://www.twitch.tv/reynisraine). It's truly breathtaking.

It's a short, meditative game where you swim around the ocean, activate life pools to repopulate the ocean and discover the story behind a lost civilization.

**Things I loved:**

* The art style and the sound design.
* The "meditate" option. You can have this game going in the background. It's very chill.
* The game can teach you about sea creatures (fantastical and real).
*   The subtle storytelling.

**Things that I didn't like:**

* The default controls. Thankfully you can edit them in the menu. Still, I had some trouble in some areas. Probably a me issue.
* It's shorter than I'd like. The game only goes for about 2 hours. If they had a DLC where we could have more places, I'd probably buy.

ABZÛ - Easy Allies Review

ABZÛ is an epic descent into the depths of the sea, where players will explore beautifully rendered ocean environments with fluid swimming controls. The experience draws inspiration from the deep innate narrative that we all carry within our subconscious: the story of ABZÛ is a universal myth that resonates across cultures. The name references a concept from the oldest mythologies; it is the combination of the two ancient words AB, meaning ocean, and ZÛ, meaning to know. ABZÛ is the ocean of wisdom.
