    Ultimately, WRC Powerslide is the perfect example of an average game and it’s hard to recommend when there are better arcade racers on the market. That being said, with a low purchase price of $9.99 you’ve likely spent your money on worse decisions and you might get at least some fun out of this budget title. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.

    This is a game that still could have been fun in short doses with a friend on the couch, and the arcade-style camera seems well suited to it. As it is, WRC Powerslide provides a couple of hours of racing fun, but its odd hodgepodge of realism and fantasy, its near indistinguishable cars, and its grindy progression leave it merely sputtering along kilometers away from the finish line.

    At a wallet-busting 1200 MSP, WRC Powerslide needed to stand head and shoulders above the waves of high-quality titles that are available on XBLA for less money. The final product seems to be standing at the back of the pack, waving its hand in the air in order to try and get someone’s attention – and at the back of the pack is where it should stay.

    WRC Powerslide supone un cambio radical en relación a lo experimentado en su saga hermana WRC. De esta forma la concepción del juego es netamente diferente, abandonando el realismo y la simulación por el factor arcade. El resultado es convincente, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta su origen digital. No será el mejor en su género, pero el trabajo de Milestone está bien acabado y se deja jugar.

    Malgré un concept original et plutôt alléchant sur le papier, WRC Powerslide peine à convaincre, la faute à un gameplay mou et mal équilibré, des power-up mal pensés et frustrants et une lisibilité pas toujours optimale.
