- Rarely do I sit down to play a game, finish it and instantly start a new playthrough; this is one of those games. Westerado is a great package with lots of replayability and can easily be recommended for fans of westerns or revenge flicks. No other experience that I've played has done revenge so well. If you've been hankerin' for a trip to the wild west saddle up and hang onto your hat, Westerado: Double Barreled is a dern tootin' good time.
Jed Whitaker · Apr 27, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Don't let its browser game roots mislead you: Westerado is a rich and creative game that opens itself up to plenty of different approaches. If you need something to pass the time in our current gaming drought, consider picking up this Old West experience told through chunky pixels.
Bob Mackey · Apr 24, 2015 Reviewed on PC - The issue is that you can only fire horizontally, left or right. ...Otherwise, Westerado is fun, a humorous and violent detective tale in the Old West. It's well written, the pixel art and animation are nicely done, and the fact that you can draw your gun whenever you want, and that you can shoot key characters dead and just keep on playing, gives it a great sense of freedom.
Christopher Livingston · Apr 16, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Westerado: Double Barreled is close to greatness. Its shooting is exploitable, but when it works it hits the right tone and sets a great mood for the experience. Its story is well told and funny, but its stereotypical characters and repeated content lead way to a bland feeling overall. A single playthrough is short and exhilarating, with each subsequent run betraying the lack of depth in what’s presented.
Alex Santa Maria · Apr 14, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Westerado is a fun game for anyone, so long as they’ve got the patience to learn the controls and can take some time for target practice. The game can be beat in 4 hours running blind, or under 30 minutes if you know what you’re doing, making it easy to pick up for a lazy afternoon.
Zachary Lyons · Apr 20, 2015 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Westerado is presented gorgeously and proves itself as a great sandbox game. There is tons of fun to be had here, especially in the quest to find your family’s murderer. Remember the name 'Ostrich Banditos'; if they keep making titles as good as Westerado: Double Barreled, we will be in for some cracking games for years to come.
