- WarioWare is a bonkers collection of blink-and-you’ll-miss-them microgames that are brimming with creativity and humour. It’s one of the few Switch games that truly makes use of the Joy-Con’s features, and it’s a real laugh with friends. I just wish it had a bit more content - and space to let its ideas breathe.
Daniel Megarry · Nov 10, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - WarioWare: Move It! utilizes the Joy-Con to its full potential, delivering the quick-paced, quirky fun you’d expect from such a brilliant franchise. While Story mode is a blast, the game only offers a few hours of content outside its clever but somewhat disappointing multiplayer. Move It! won’t replace a certain red-hatted plumber’s party and family game staples any time soon, but Intelligent System’s creativity is something to be applauded. To the “once a year at Christmas” pile you go, Wario.
Thomas Cunliffe · Nov 08, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The sheer ridiculousness of the microgame themes combined with the equally silly motion control poses make for a hilarious time, and the game works best in short bursts at gatherings than compared to the longer sessions you'll need to spend with a Mario Party title.
Cody Medellin · Nov 07, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - WarioWare Move It!’s microgames may not all be winners when unresponsive controls get in the way, but its generous catalog of microgames is sure to tickle your funny bone and keep you and your friends entertained for a long time.
Giancarlo Saldana · Nov 06, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - While it’s physically exhausting for long plays, it’s still a perfect pickup game alone or with friends/family. Replay value is heavily contingent on interest from everyone involved, so the best games come from people who want to Move It.
Oliver Shellding · Nov 05, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - WarioWare: Move It maintains the series' zany sense of humor and experimentation, but it often asks more than the Joy-Con motion controls can handle.
Steve Watts · Nov 03, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - WarioWare: Move It! offers up plenty of hilarious, colorful, and creative microgames — it's just a shame that players will have to contend with an unwavering dedication to motion controls and a story mode that only lasts a couple of hours.
Shaan Joshi · Nov 03, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Finally, a Switch game that gets why motion control can be a blast under the right circumstances. WarioWare: Move it! hits all the high notes and continues a fine tradition in ridiculousness.
Mark Isaacson · Nov 02, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - It’s fun, frenzied, and of course full of Nintendo-themed nostalgia including Pikmin, Super Mario Bros, and more.
Steve Wright · Nov 02, 2023 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - With or without friends, WarioWare: Move it! will have you smiling at every turn. Featuring hundreds of new and quirky micro-games, Move it! gets you on your feet and moving once more by striking silly poses with the Joy-Cons, which feels (mostly) natural and accurate. It’s not the kind of game you can play for hours, but it will be one to return to any time you need a pick-me-up. Its sense of humor and goofy mechanics will stay fresh for years to come. Finally, this is the successor to Smooth Moves we’ve been waiting for.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
Grab a pair of Joy-Con™ controllers and get moving as you gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle, and even curtsey through over 200 lightning-fast microgames (minigames that last just a few hilarious seconds). A second player* can use another set of Joy-Con controllers to join the treasure-guarding, sheep-twirling fun. Up to 4 players, each with one Joy-Con controller, can laugh out loud in the local Party Mode’s minigames like a dicey board game with Wario-style rules.
