A mediocre edition of a great game. You can skip Harrowdeep, but don’t let that put you off Warhammer: Underworlds as a whole.

Warhammer Underworlds Online is practically a 1:1 recreation of the board game. Players are restricted on how many moves they’re allowed to make between turns, forcing them to carefully consider each and every move. While everything has gone digital, the game still operates using a virtual die. In several cases, the fate of a match came down to either a good or bad dice roll. This could potentially frustrate some players.

WUO is a fantastic digital capture of the incredible physical game. It blends deck building with great turn-based action. The current online experience isn't perfect, and unless playing friends directly, does require some perseverance.

Warhammer Underworlds: Online reviews are currently too few, for the game was released just a little while ago. However, the fans of the Warhammer series are praising it for its rightful representation of the source material, doing it justice absolutely. Also, the game is praised for its particular blend of strategy and card game mechanics, and it is described as engaging and competitive. Top marks as far as we are concerned!
