- Void Tyrant is a roguelike deckbuilding RPG with a core gameplay that takes inspiration from Blackjack (yes, blackjack!).
NimbleThor · Mar 28, 2020 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Void Tyrant is a fantastic game. At $5 it’s hard to find a better value for entertainment or longevity as I have already invested numerous hours delving in and unlocking base upgrades. We don’t usually find something like this under $10, much less as a free to play with an option of being a single purchase game. I will have this game on my phone for a long time to come, and for good reason. If you like card games, or roguelikes, or space adventures, Void Tyrant has something for you.
Andrew Fretz · Jul 26, 2019 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Void Tyrant isn't quite a perfect game, but I adore it nonetheless. There are so many amazing, smart, and creative things in this game that I've never seen in a card-based roguelite before that I don't care that some runs can feel random or oddly paced. There's always a next time to look forward to in Void Tyrant, and that's the greatest thing about it.
Campbell Bird · Jun 27, 2019 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Void Tyrant repurposes common mechanics in a unique way, but struggles to find the right balance between reward and the grind.
