    Unit 4 is a game you can pick up and play, but small learning curves are required at times. This is mainly because combining your characters is crucial in navigating the challenges the game throws at you. For it to be enjoyed to its fullest, it is a matter of mastering the fun character switching mechanic with a sleight of hand to make the most of this fast-paced platformer. It’s generally going to best served to those with some 2D platforming experience already under their belt.

    While Unit 4 has some really neat ideas, it barely misses the mark and will probably only attract nostalgia from diehard retro fans. In its current state, all the polish in the world wouldn't address the key issues I have with this title. To put it simply, this game's co-op isn't a big enough change from the retro titles it draws inspiration from.

    Unit 4 è un solido platform game 2D vecchia scuola, i cui livelli non verranno mai superati in un batter d'occhio come potreste erroneamente pensare ad un'analisi superficiale. È possibile che siate costretti a ripetere le prime fasi del primo livello, ad esempio, anche una trentina di volte. La soddisfazione che deriva dal completamento di ogni singolo mondo, però, è davvero tanta (e mondi e livelli sono pure parecchi).

    Nel complesso ci troviamo al cospetto di un titolo senza troppe pretese, dotato di un discreto level design ma parimenti afflitto da qualche difetto tanto nella qualità della grafica in pixel art proposta che nell'utilità delle attività secondarie. Peraltro gli sviluppatori hanno già pianificato la pubblicazione di un aggiornamento gratuito, che a partire da giugno offrirà alcuni minigiochi competitivi e funzionalità aggiuntive.

    A je to práve tento mix, ktorý Unit 4 ťahá hore. Navyše je faktor zábavy veľmi ovplyvnený tým, či si hru máte s kým zahrať. Ak ste sami, až tak vás asi nechytí, no ak máte poruke niekoho, s kým sa do hry môžete pustiť, zabavíte sa viac. Je škoda, že si autori nedali pozor na niektoré zlé rozhodnutia. Ešte väčšia škoda je, že mali dva roky na to, aby sa poučili zo spätnej väzby hráčov. Skákanie, hitboxy a ďalšie menšie veci ťahajú zážitok dole.
