    Traps n’ Gemstones is more than just another great release from Donut Games — it’s essential gaming for fans of classic back-tracking platformers. I really can’t recommend this highly enough, especially to gamers who are already enamored with the genre. Hands down, this is one of the best games of 2014. Buy it.

    Overall, Traps n’ Gemstones is a very solid game. It feels like a definite throwback with its visuals and classic design, and Donut Games pulled it off. Traps n’ Gemstones is definitely worth checking out.

    Traps n' Gemstones could probably benefit from a little more flash and razzle-dazzle, and a few bosses wouldn't hurt, but I'm not going to gripe too much when what's here is as good as it is. ... Moreover, its superb design ensures that all of those activities will prove to be enjoyable. This game sort of shattered my expectations of Donut Games, and if you give it a go, I think you'll agree they're onto something great here.
