  This game is crazy addictive. And it even comes with two extra modes—Kepler Run, which features vortexes that drastically shift your direction, and Hell Zone, which speaks for itself. Here’s a word of advice—skip the Doctor Who marathon, and pick this up instead. It won’t make the angels weep, but you may hear them whisper, cowabunga!

  Time Surfer is an intense, enjoyable game that rarely stumbles. It’s probably not the kind of game you’ll find yourself playing a few months from now, but it’s kinetic and fun in short bursts, and well worth a try.

  Even after playing the first 500 meters over and over again, and only seeing the back 3,000 thanks to serious sympathy from the game, I cannot put it down. The music is stuck in my head, the surfer’s image is flashing before my eyes, and I’m already starting my next run before finishing this sente.

  I get something new and different from playing Time Surfer, a rush that proves there was untapped potential in the formula. The game is vicious, it's ridiculous, and it looks like something that came off a Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper. Execution is half the battle, and Time Surfer nails it.

  At first you'll rewind to correct mistakes; pretty soon, you'll be rewinding so you never make them. Chasing scores is always an exercise in masochism, and in giving you potentially infinite second chances, Time Surfer risked taking away the sense of achievement. Instead, it adds a whole other dimension.
