    The Lightbringer is a solid puzzle platformer with a lot of heart that’s easy to recommend. It’s not perfect—the combat element needs a bit of work—but it’s easier to overlook its weaker elements when everything else is so smartly designed. While The Lightbringer ends sooner than I would have liked, it also feels like the prelude to something grander.

    The Lightbringer is a beautiful game that'll appeal to anyone who enjoys 3D platforming with elaborate puzzle-filled stages. I wish that it was a bit more forgiving with its continue system, though, as playing through a lengthy stage again can be a huge pain in the tuchus.

    Molto gradevole è anche il comparto musicale, che ci ha donato delle belle e piacevoli sensazioni (altro che oscurità). Insomma, abbiamo già giocato titoli dalla trama simile, come Journey, Minute of Islands o Haven. Ebbene, The Lightbringer non spicca per essere chissà quanto originale, anzi, non lo è per niente. Eppure, gli sviluppatori sono comunque riusciti a realizzare un'esperienza semplice e genuina, nonché con poche pretese.

Guided by your sister’s spirit, you must prevail where she could not. Cleanse the corruption, become The Lightbringer. The world is under siege by a malicious corruption, targeting the ancient monoliths that gave power and light to these lands. As the chosen one, you have the ability to harness pure light energy from the air, energy that will aid you in cleansing the monoliths to bring back their light.
