- 90 Read our review policy Thank Goodness You're Here! A gleefully anarchic treasure trove of jokes and skits, TGYH is the funniest game I've played.
Fraser Brown · Jan 09, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It won’t be for everyone, but Thank Goodness You’re Here offers up such a bravely unique vision it’s hard not to be impressed.
Simon Reed · Oct 20, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Thank Goodness You’re Here is a crazy, hilarious but short game that perfectly encapsulates the strange inhabitants of Britain. Whilst it may not be for everyone, and it’s definitely a bit short for the price it’s asking for, its writing, jokes and charm make this a hilarious, unique game that takes you on such a bizarre journey through good ol’ England. Now if you excuse me I’m going to head down to my local pub for a cheeky pint and get some fish and chips on the way home, all in the name of king and country.
Sam Flanagan · Oct 10, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - The base humor lands because of quality presentation and good comedic timing, though certainly caters to a specific demographic.
Jerry Williams · Aug 31, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A rarity, Thank Goodness You’re Here! lovingly mocks the North of England, and it has several good laughs, but it does underwhelm in its play.
Josh Wise · Aug 27, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Thank Goodness You’re Here! is a delight from start to finish. Packed chock full of gags both visual and via the script, you’ll be laughing frequently. A genuinely funny game with a great sense of place and nary a mean spirited gag throughout. Some of the jokes and cultural references might go over the head of non-Brits, but that’s their problem, not Coal Supper’s. The inclusion of two unlikely music tracks also make for unexpected earworms in 2024.
Ian · Aug 15, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Thank Goodness You're Here is like a season of a British cartoon, a series of linked episodes in which you're constantly being pelted with jokes. And the game looks great, and the humor in it is good, and the characters are funny, and there are a lot of interactive moments as well. It's a unique project, made with great love for English culture, and a great way to cheer yourself up - whether you understand British humor or not.
Brau3er · Aug 15, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Thank Goodness You're Here! es un magnífico videojuego de humor que reinterpreta la estructura clásica de las aventuras gráficas para convertirlas en un show cómico que no deja de hacerte reír en las tres horas que dura.
Manu Delgado · Aug 14, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Thank Goodness You’re Here’s humor is its strongest asset, so the trade-off is worth it. Games don't usually prioritize comedy, much less nail it, and that makes developer Coal Supper's first full title that much more impressive. Like a lot of sketch comedy shows, a decent portion of the gags in Thank Goodness You're Here don’t hit their marks, but the ones that do are utterly delightful bursts of joy that are funny to both watch and partake in.
