  • An ever-so-slightly shabby single-player first-person shooter, Terminator: Resistance – Complete Edition still does right by the movies, delivering a decent slice of narrative, and robust action, to boot. Come with me if you want to be entertained for about 10-15 hours.

  • Terminator: Resistance shows a bunch of potential, even if it doesn't always meet it. I was happily surprised with deeper than expected progression, and great dialogue and relationship building. But playing the game I feel stuck in the past, with visuals from yesteryear meeting good but standard gunplay. The worst part is watching the newest piece, the Annihilation Line DLC, take a step back.

  • Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is a decent looking PS3 game that’s 10 years too late. It adds little value to the disappointing original release, and will only please hardcore fans of the movies.

  • While Enhanced can't hide Terminator: Resistance's budget origins, this is a solid licensed game that honors the franchise that spawned it. If you can overlook its budget-related flaws, this is a fairly enjoyable take on the Terminator license.

  • It barely showcases what the PS5 is capable of in terms of graphics, but it’s still a nice improvement over its last-gen counterpart. Not only is this a great Terminator game, possibly the best Terminator game ever made, but it’s also a fairly competent first-person shooter with RPG elements in its own right.

  • Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is not a good game. It is a perfectly average title from a decade or two ago that is somehow being released now. Despite its relatively shiny graphics, there is nothing interesting beneath the chrome.

  • Terminator Resistance is a forgettable, dull and uninspired shooter that lacks focus and a true sense of identity. While there’s a commendable authenticity to the original movies in its design and some strong stealth sections, the game winds up a soulless shooter that lacks purpose. Not even Arnold Schwarzenegger could’ve saved this one.

  • Terminator Resistance is a mediocre game. This shooter just isn’t satisfying enough to recommend a buy. It has its fun moments and treats the source material well. But if you’re looking for a fun first-person shooter, you’d best look elsewhere. Terminator Resistance is definitely one for the long-time fans. Overall it feels like this game could’ve been better than it was.

  • This FPS-RPG mix-up might just be a miss for those who looking for something different aside from other well-known titles in the gaming industry. Terminator: Resistance maybe a fun sci-fi stealthy-or-deadly adventure for fans of the film series, but the shooter doesn’t do much to separate itself from the popular genre we all know and love.

  • Had Terminator: Resistance released in 2008 it may have been considered one of the better licensed games of its time, but we’ve come a long way in ten years. In 2019, with excellent licensed titles becoming more common, Terminator: Resistance is mediocre at best. Fans may like it, but they deserve better. Maybe they’ll get that game in an alternate future – who knows – but they certainly didn’t today.
