  • Give it a go and you'll know why it has reached such millions of players Worldwide. Great 3D graphics and simple gameplay that becomes even more challenging as more people play it. This is a 5/5 stars must-have, how could I challenge the opinion of million people probably smarter than me?

  • Perhaps the best part of the game is its price-tag: free. Even better, it is currently completely ad-free (though I can’t imagine that’s going to continue, given the games popularity). This is a game that you will likely be playing for quite some time, and to offer it for free actually makes me feel bad that they didn’t charge $0.99 for the app—even at that price it is a steal. All told, if this game isn’t on your phone, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice.

  • My big qualm with Temple Runner lies in the fact that the majority of the game's scenery looks the same. Yeah, the scenery does change here and there, but most of the time, gamers are running through ruined, temple pathways that look consistently the same. It all starts to blur together after a while.

Temple Run is a fast and frenzied iPhone experience. The combination of swiping and tilt controls gives each session a frantic feeling. Right now the package feels a little basic and derivative, but still quite fun. Gamers craving a new iOS time waster should give Temple Run a long look.

  • The game works on the iPad, but you have to magnify it 2X to use the controls effectively, and believe us when we say the graphics take quite a hit; thankfully, iPhone 4 users benefit from Retina Display support. On that note, it remains to be seen whether Temple Run is the greatest running game on the App Store, but it's without question one of the best. For a buck, it's definitely worth a look.

  • Temple Run tightens up and polishes the endless-runner for the 3rd dimension, giving players a unique and fun challenge that controls like a dream.

  • A solid take on the endless-running genre that doesn't add anything, but is still fun all the same.
