- Tchia is a game with longevity as finding every collectible, completing every mini-game and killing every bad guy can still be accomplished on completion of the main storyline. Complete with a beautiful location inspired by Caledonian culture, there should be no reason to not follow Tchia’s journey. Will we be going back to the islands? Almost certainly.
Gemma Young · Aug 05, 2024 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - An absorbing open world adventure drenched in colourful New Caledonian culture, Tchia is beautifully unique and more than deserving of your time. It's on Xbox Game Pass – there's no excuse not to give it a go.
Richard Walker · Jul 23, 2024 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Tchia is the latest, and one of my favorite, late ports to Xbox that’s arriving thanks to Game Pass. It’s a beautiful game, with an incredible soundtrack, fun gameplay, and an emotional story full of loss and love.
Jesse Norris · Jul 03, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Despite a few technical hiccups on the Switch Tchia remains a wonderfully wholesome adventure.
Jordan Biordi · Jul 02, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Overall, I loved getting lost in Tchia‘s world. It’s a casual experience, with some fantastic exploration, diverse challenges and tasks, a rich setting, and a surprisingly deep story. The entire game has been lovingly crafted and steeped in lore from New Caledonia. The only thing keeping Tchia out of the realm of greatness are the amount of bugs affecting it, at least on the PC version.
Heidi Hawes · Apr 09, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Tchia shines at its best when you are immersed in its laidback, breezy islands with the peaceful music taking over, unwinding and relaxing while exploring the many secrets of the archipelago. All in all a solid indie adventure that gives homage to a beautiful culture, enriching and teaching you about them in the process.
AndresPlays · Mar 31, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Everything about Tchia is an obvious passion project by its developers and the feeling of love for the area of New Caledonia is carried over in a way that is felt by the player. Not only is this a beautiful game for its graphics, but for the moving and immersive story of Tchia as she learns more about her world, her abilities, and how to find her father. Tchia is a one-of-a-kind game that is meant to not only be played but truly experienced.
Carrie Lambertsen · Mar 22, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Tchia is still a brilliantly designed game with beautiful visuals, rich culture to explore, breathtaking music, and so much more. The atmosphere might seem unnecessarily cheery and light, but that might be the main message the game has to offer. That even in the darkest time, no matter how hard it gets, you can still find joy around you as long as you hold your head high and push forward.
R3GR3T · Mar 22, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Lovely and captivating even if it's a bit lacking in substance overall. But you can fly around a gorgeous open word as a bird and freely play a ukulele, so this one's a win in my book.
Andrew Farrell · Mar 21, 2023 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Tchia has heart, a beautiful world, and some cool gameplay concepts. The story is filled with emotion but also grounded. Exploration is easy and rewarding, with a lot of great sights to see and interesting characters to interact with. Even the ukulele mini-game associated with musical numbers works.

Trailers & Screenshots:
Join Tchia on her tropical open-world adventure as she sets off to rescue her father from the cruel tyrant, Meavora, ruler of the archipelago. Climb, glide, swim, and sail your boat around beautiful islands as you explore a physics-driven sandbox. Face the fabric soldiers created by Meavora in open encounters where your creativity gives you the edge. Take control of any animal or object you can find, make new friends and jam on your fully playable Ukulele. A poetic coming-of-age story inspired by New Caledonia.
