  The lack of explanation for many of the game’s systems and no multiplayer to speak of will disappoint – as does the fact there’s very little SpellForce here – but there’s plenty to like too. Particularly for fans of Might & Magic Heroes.

  There are moments where you can see what SpellForce is going for, but none of it ever really comes together. The game’s glacial pace, simple combat, and all-around brokenness make it so you can’t enjoy any part of it without fighting through some kind of poor design choice or functional problem.

  The game is not finished, lacking any kind of rules or tutorial and littered with awful bugs. It's an adventure, all right, but not the fun kind you were probably hoping for.

  SpellForce: Heroes & Magic è un titolo dalle grandi premesse, ma che manca completamente il bersaglio per mancanza di varietà e di contenuti interessanti. Il risultato finale è un 4X blando, che offre pochissimi spunti interessanti e che soffre di difetti strutturali evidenti. Peccato, perché la mancanza di microtransazioni in un titolo del genere per sistemi mobile ci aveva fatto ben sperare.
