  Nevertheless, despite the bugs and crashes, incomprehensible mechanics and the complete emptiness of the island, there is something to like in Sons Of The Forest. The best part of this game, as weird as it sounds, is the forest itself and what they did to the game's visuals.

  Sons of the Forest is exciting, immersive, and beautiful. It is also extremely scary and absolutely packed with content. These are things you probably expect from a big game, but not a budget Early Access title. Sons of the Forest somehow manages to be all of these things simultaneously, and there is still more to come.

  My overall impression is that there have been upgrades to the base building, the survival system, the graphics, the sound and the dynamics of the world. It has been done in a good way, I especially like the new seasons. Winter and summer create contrasts in how you play. Not quite as big a change as day and night in Dying Light, but still significant. The graphics look noticeably better and shine in the caves and outdoors. It doesn't have quite the same polish as high-budget titles but it's impressive what Endnight Games has created.

  As twisted as its predecessor, with solid survival mechanics and gory gameplay. It’s in early access and has more room to grow, but allowing for this, it’s essential for horror and survival fans alike, and made even better with friends.

  Sons of the Forest cuenta con sus luces y sombras, pero si tenemos en cuenta que el título está en Acceso Anticipado, podemos esperar que la optimización y la estabilidad del juego, así como su inacabado final, se vean solucionados y mejorados con el paso de los meses. En líneas generales Endnight Games ha conseguido que el juego cumpla con lo prometido, y obviamente estamos impacientes por ver más en los próximos meses.

  Sons of the Forest weet zelfs in zijn Early Access periode al enorm te overtuigen. De manier van verhaalvertelling weet ervoor te zorgen dat ik elk briefje probeer te lezen, omdat ik alles wil leren over deze wereld. Zelfs na het voltooien van de missie wil ik meer weten en daarom kan ik niet wachten om verder te gaan als het verhaal meer te bieden heeft. Ondertussen zijn er nog genoeg grotten om te ontdekken en avonturen om te beleven, dus we zijn nog lang niet klaar.
