- 88 Read our review policy Sonic Racing: Crossworlds I should probably also mention that this is an extremely strong arcade-style racing game in its own right.
Chris Thursten · Jul 20, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It’s a fun piece of software; there are in-app purchases, even after purchase, but it does pack a lot of play in its fine-tuned raceways.
Tre Lawrence · Apr 18, 2014 Reviewed on And - Its use of in-game purchases could be negative for those who feel the need to resort to them, but this shouldn’t represent many as the game gives you ample time to hone your skills, level up your vehicle, and unlock things on your own. Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed is a well-made port and a great way to kick off the new year in iOS gaming.
Chris Kiernan · Jan 06, 2014 Reviewed on iOS - Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed hangs its hat on the variety of its game play and also tugs on our respective heart strings. The holiday season is over, but it's great to see a few familiar faces around the bend. They may drift away now and again, but the race, especially if Sega continues its winning streak, is far from over.
Greg Srisavasdi · Jan 06, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Had Sega simply bumped up the price and included everything in one shot, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed would've been just as well received as its console counterpart. Instead, due to an unfair currency system and technical hiccups, it loses control.
Robert Workman · Jan 03, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - It's a shame because the rest of the game is such a great kart racer and does so much to be its own weird little thing. The core game comes highly recommended, the extraneous elements not so much. But if players want to play the game on the go and don't have a PlayStation Vita, then well - they have to deal with it.
Carter Dotson · Jan 03, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - I wish more of the All-Stars were in this version of the game, but for the price, I really can't gripe about the amount of content here, especially since almost all of the tracks are here. It's considerably closer to the console version than the last one was. All in all, this is the best kart racer available on iOS, a worthy port, and just a great game all around.
Shaun Musgrave · Jan 03, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - The racing is solid, responsive, and feels fair. As one might expect, we weren’t able to test out the multiplayer in the pre-release version, but the single-player experience is mostly solid, aside from the aforementioned tying of advancement in the Grand Prix to the trick-based World Tour mode. If that isn’t a problem for you, though, then this is undoubtedly one of the best racing experiences you can get on the iPhone.
David Oxford · Jan 02, 2014 Reviewed onRead full review - A workable frame rate might have salvaged this uninteresting, watered-down 3DS version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Instead, the game's single redeeming quality is marred by technical and gameplay problems, leaving it a shallow, unworkable execution of a good idea.
Nate Andrews · Mar 19, 2013 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - All in all, Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed amounts to a fast, furious and tantalising game that will surely find appeal with gamers. One of the strongest offerings amid the Wii U’s early software line-up, be sure to pick it up.
