- Skycadia is a fun arcade-style dogfighting game. It has a lovely visual style, smooth and responsive controls and a fast and fun gameplay loop. There’s not much to it beyond chasing your own high score an unlocking new characters or weapons, but it is just simple fun, and something worth checking out.
Jamie Collyer · Jan 12, 2021 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Skycadia on Xbox is as basic an arcade flight game as they come, and the simple, functional mechanics serve their purpose well to deliver a reasonable score-chasing experience. The game design is a bit on the basic side, and the visual style is a strange curiosity; with games like The Falconeer available on the console, there’s very little reason to invest your time into Skycadia despite its rather inexpensive entry price.
Jahanzeb Khan · Jan 18, 2021 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - Skycadia shows a lot of potential as its flying and shooting is smooth and enjoyable, however after a certain point, the game lacks staying-power. Its lack of multiplayer and co-op, or even just a good old fashioned dog-fighting mode to keep players invested. This is made worse when the screen becomes too busy, making what was a lighthearted dog-fighter into a bullet hell 3D shooter that some may enjoy but others may become frustrated with. Skycadia was created by a single developer whose dream was to release a game on the Nintendo Switch.
Poco male, insomma!
