Graphics are absolutely perfect and the game couldn't be more engaging. There's a multiplayer mode to compete with friends and see who's the better snowboarder. Crazy and fun. The game also introduces several elements of customization, so you can personalize your favorite character by purchasing upgrades with the coins you earn. The gameplay isn't original, but all the extras, social components and hundreds of achievements make up the lack of originality. It's an exciting and worthy game that will be loved by players of all ages.

The game still takes an obscene amount of time to get challenging, but a long list of missions across three different worlds definitely helped to keep me interested. The addition of tricks, a neat little camera mode, and local multiplayer are also pretty welcome, and for only two dollars I see this as an easy recommend--especially if you never played the first one.

Ski Safari 2 is a great game to pick up for your mobile device. It’s fun, has lots to accomplish and unlock, it’s bright and silly — it’s basically everything you love about traditional mobile gaming distilled into a single title.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ski Safari 2 to newcomers, or to folks who really liked the first game and just want more stuff in it. But everyone else might as well stick with what they’ve already got.

I’ve been spending a good amount of time on Ski Safari 2 since the weekend, and I must say, this is a great sequel. The visuals are lush and detailed, the music is delightful, the one-touch controls always feel natural and intuitive, and the challenging gameplay will keep you busy for hours, perhaps even days. Plus, with the amount of content that you can unlock, there is little reason to not keep playing.

And here's the rub – you won't mind that much. There's not enough punch to keep you interested, no real visual hook, and while it's got a cheeky sense of humour the actual game underneath just feels like a retread of old ground. ...Ski Safari 2 is fine, but we've definitely seen this mountain before.
