- Sure, there are some things that made me do a double take, but Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is still a really good game! There is more than enough to sink your teeth in and really enjoy your time with this version. It’s so chock full of little details, interactions and possibilities that I had a blast playing it and taking my time. Playing it for the first time was amazing, and I’ll be going back for more very very soon. I truly feel like I want to experience everything the game has to offer in as many ways as possible, and I fully believe the developers did not disappoint.

Yes, it’s still perhaps existing in the shadow of the Persona series with its litany of similarities, and doesn’t quite have the grace and style of its brethren, but it’s a hardcore RPG that blazes its own path (mostly), and does so with conviction and poise. Vengeance is therefore fully worthy of your attention and the amount of hours you’ll no-doubt pour into it.

Pre majiteľov Switch je to veľká výzva: nová línia je pútava, ale budú hrať úplne od začiatku – intuitívnejšie, s prídavkami a výrazne zmeny prídu cca po tretine, ale určite si ich užijú. Väčší zmysel môže mať hra na výkonnejšej platforme či pre nováčikov: masívna porcia hrateľnosti (2x80 hodín nie je problém), lepšia grafika, azda definitívna verzia.

There’s a ridiculous amount of content and a huge roster of demons to engage with, as well as a shed load of welcome additions and improvements. Sure, the storytelling isn’t perfect, but the shortcomings there are more than made up for by the rest of what Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance delivers. Clear your schedule – Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a damn great game that deserves your time and attention.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance viene a posicionarse no solo como un relanzamiento excepcional, sino también como uno de los mejores JRPG del año. Con cambios a su estructura principal, mejoras de calidad de vida, dos rutas jugables y más de 100 horas de contenido, estamos ante un juego de rol por turnos increíblemente complejo y potente donde no solo hay cantidad, sino calidad. Tres años después de su lanzamiento original, y llegando por fin a otras plataformas, es hora de que todo el mundo disfrute de un título tan robusto como mimado.
