    Shards of Infinity PC and Mobile game is a serious take on the deck-building genre. Temple Gates Games is a serious company that pushed the card game genre to its limits, bringing it to the VR even. Where other card games might be considered suitable for younger audiences and easy to pick up, Shards of Infinity rules are much more immersive, complex, and ultimately more rewarding. Definitely for the deck aficionados!

    Shards of Infinity is a slick deck-builder that feels almost infinitely replayable. There may be a few slight hitches in the game’s multiplayer execution, but it’s otherwise an immaculate digital adaptation of a great card game.

    The game has basic matchmaking for online play that works perfectly. You can set a match to have a 30 min (per side) time limit that makes it basically real time, or go up to days or weeks if you prefer a correspondence game. There's no ranking system, but I found lots of people to play with, who were usually quite a bit more challenging than the Hard AI. The online play is cross-platform too, which should help with keeping the number of online players high, and you can add friends to keep track of your regular partners.
