  • Samorost 3 continues the story of a small gnome-like creature living on an asteroid in space. It’s also the final chapter in this series of beautiful point-and-click adventure games.

  • I recommend checking out Samorost 3 if you’re a fan of exploration adventure puzzle games and like Amanita Design’s previous titles.

  • Any and all point-and-click fans need to check out Samorost 3. It’s a great game, and it’s super pretty to look at and listen to. Even if you’re not a fan of the genre, you should check it out — if only because it’s such an absolute treat for the senses.

  • Samorost 3 is one of those games that gives back to you as much as you give it. The time and effort you spend here is rewarded in turn, with every wondrous discovery and all the little joys the game has to offer. Samorost 3 is surreal, magical, and one of the warmest and most delightful games I’ve had the pleasure of playing.

  • Samorost 3 is a beautiful game and definitely worth experiencing if only for the visuals and musicality. It is a pleasant adventure with some great ideas, but is let down by its short gameplay and sometimes frustrating puzzles.

  • It’s not overly difficult and the wonderfully-illustrated hint guide cleared out the only puzzle I got sick of failing to solve (due to it seeming to require endless trial and error) in no time at all. Samorost 3 is a beautiful, clever and wonderfully-designed adventure and its only major problem is how much I hate to leave its universe behind now that it’s been completed.

  • Though I did eventually grow bored of its puzzles, I never tired of Samorost 3's world. Added mechanical depth and variety would have certainly made the game richer, but every subtle visual detail, every lingering musical note, every delightful interaction coalesces into a truly special world that makes Samorost 3 worthwhile nonetheless.

  • Samorost 3 is a relatively short journey, taking about five to six hours to beat and a little more to fully complete. That time is jam-packed with delightful characters, stunning scenery, and clever puzzles, so while it may be brief, it's certainly time well spent. For anyone who appreciates Amanita's previous titles or the point-and-click adventure genre in general, Samorost 3 comes highly recommended.

  • It's obviously a very minor point as complaints go, and not nearly enough to detract from the brilliance of the game. And Samorost 3 is brilliant at times: Weird, wonderful, and a worthy next step in the evolution of Amanita Design. Given the studio's history, that's no small accomplishment.
