  • Despite some shortcomings with the supporting cast and some slightly buggy AA technical hiccups, RoboCop: Rogue City is the ultimate RoboCop experience. Fans will get a lot of bang for their buck here since it is a shockingly lengthy game, clocking in over thirty hours. It is very authentic to the films and captures their essence, but lacks the courage to introduce fresh ideas. The developers have been very active in patching some of the glitches, so it stands to become a better experience as time goes on. Hopefully, they will implement a new game plus one day too.

  • Robocop: Rogue City exceeded my wildest expectations when it comes to what a Robocop game could be, and the team at Teyon should be immensely proud of delivering a true love letter to one of the defining films of the 1980s. Anyone who’s even a casual fan of Robocop should buy this game without hesitation as soon as feasibly possible — no Robocop fan will walk away disappointed, and this experience is worth way more than a dollar.

  • The issue with RoboCop: Rogue City is that making a game that stays so true to the IP brings some downsides, as being RoboCop does not make for the most compelling first-person shooter action, as being overpowered, while fun and hilarious, can take away some of the urgency that great first-person shooters have when playing a more vulnerable hero. The added features and extras on top of the action add some breaks between the gunfights, in what could become tedious if stretched for too long; thankfully, the campaign ends just when it begins to falter. For what it is worth for fans, RoboCop: Rogue City is a brilliant RoboCop game, but only a decent first-person shooter.

  • Nevertheless, despite some pacing issues and an occasional lack of focus, I’m very impressed with what Teyon was able to achieve. With both Terminator and RoboCop, two franchises which had previously never succeeded in the gaming realm, becoming hits under their wing, I can’t wait to see what they will come up with next.

  • Fan service it may be, but RoboCop: Rogue City does just enough to stand up on its own merits. There's not a lot of depth to it, and it retreads a lot of old ground, but the charm just about shines through.

  • Está lejísimos de ser el shooter del año, pero tiene un "no se qué" nostálgico que hace que apetezca jugar, especialmente si flipaste con la acción desinhibida de las pelis.

  • RoboCop: Rogue City triumphantly resurrects the essence of the '90s franchise, planting players in the metallic boots of Detroit's finest with an authentic aesthetic and a plot rich in nostalgic flair.

  • While RoboCop does have some fun moments and enjoyable gameplay, it is, on the whole, a shallow, repetitive experience. Living the power-fantasy of being RoboCop does not save it from glitchy, rudimentary gameplay and a story that is too similar to the movies. If you love RoboCop like me, you may find something here to enjoy, otherwise, look elsewhere for your gaming goodness.

  • ... if you’re not a RoboCop fan, the adventure may feel dated or buggy compared to other shooters. But as a B-tier love letter to the tin man in blue, Rogue City is a nice return to the limelight for Alex Murphy.
