- Pocket City is not a free game. It costs $4.99, but there are no further purchases you need to make in-game. In fact, it is a bargain considering the cost and the fact that this game can potentially bring you days or even months of fun, as the nature of the seamless gameplay is endless. It does feature an in-game currency, naturally, but your funds increase as your city grows, and the focus of Pocket City is more on planning, organizing, and controlling, rather than grinding money.

If you’re a fan of city building games, then you will love this. If your not a fan of city building games, then you’ll love it more. It is the perfect game to spend any train journeys playing, it fills you with a real sense of accomplishment and does tedious activities like collecting revenue from shops automatically. Your focus is very much on what do I build next, how do I increase my revenue and keep my city safe.

Il marque cependant sa différence par des innovations importantes dans son système de jeu, notamment son système de quêtes très pertinent qui donne au joueur les objectifs à court et moyen terme qui pouvaient manquer dans SimCity. L'ambiance générale y est colorée et dynamique. Les commandes quant à elles, sont justes parfaitement adaptées au style de jeu, c'est un plaisir.

L'assenza di qualsiasi trappola da micro-transazioni o tempi d'attesa forzati è ossigeno puro per chi vuole semplicemente giocare e Pocket City, almeno fino al sopraggiungere dei limiti fisiologici del genere, ve lo lascerà fare alla grande.
