- Overall, this is a title that is brimming with unrealised potential. If everything worked as designed, Pixel Piracy's customisation options, management mechanics and randomly generated world would be incredibly engaging and fun. Unfortunately, the problems with the AI turn battles from strategic endeavours to long slogs and there isn't as much to do as it first appears. If you're lucky enough to avoid the bugs, Pixel Piracy will provide a couple of hours of enjoyment while you figure out its intricacies and perfect your crew, though we doubt there's enough variation to keep you hooked beyond your first play through.

Un título bien enfocado y divertido pero con ciertos fallos técnicos que ensombrecen el título, sobre todo cuando llevamos unas cuantas horas jugando, llegando a convertirse en una espiral de acontecimientos muy similares entre sí.

Es una lástima que nunca destape todo su potencial y que su mecánica sea tan repetitiva, más cuando no está planteado como un juego corto o arcade, sino algo para dedicarle muchas horas.

Ne è emerso un titolo eccessivamente lineare per quanto attiene gli scopi, dotato di un sistema di combattimento troppo limitante e di un'attività esplorativa che, già dopo le prime due ore di gioco, non ha molto altro da offrire.

Efter ett tiotal timmar kommer de fyra piratkungarna vara döda, och därefter finns det inte så mycket att göra än att fortsätta segla och plundra varenda liten ögrupp du ser.

In the game, the player leads the life of a pirate captain. Recruit a crew, outfit and customize your ship and set sail on the open seas. There you’ll use any combination of aggression, diversion and trade to become the most infamous pirate crew of the seven seas!
