  The atmosphere is perfect, the writing and localisation oozes melancholia, and the music is ethereal and unnerving, yet it's all wrapped up in a gacha overflowing with systems and mechanics in an overbearing manner.

  Taro has never handled a story that continued beyond launch day, and what little plot is in Re[in]carnation so far is basic but has plenty of room to grow and expand into a weird yet wonderful experience. Still, it’s going to need to evolve past the extremely standard auto-battler it currently exists as. Admittedly, it’s just difficult to admit that a game I still kind of like at the end of the day might have been better as a “walking simulator.”

  NieR Re[in]carnation si piazza nel mercato come un titolo da provare e vivere pur considerando i suoi limiti in fatto di gameplay. Le storie dei personaggi e delle armi, la trama della Ragazza di Luce e di Mama, nonché le incredibili atmosfere ci hanno convinto positivamente, dandoci modo di andare ancora più fondo nell'intricata mente di Yoko Taro.

  Mettendo in scena un gioco veramente atipico come narrazione ed estetica a fronte di un gameplay decisamente trito e poco originale. Un contrasto strano anch'esso, che può incrementare la curiosità per questo titolo, la cui prova è comunque consigliata a tutti, stando ben attenti ai meccanismi perversi che un free-to-play gacha si porta sempre dietro.

  Yoko Taro ci racconta un'altra delle sue storie malinconiche e dolci-amare in Nier Reincarnation, titolo che può vantare un comparto tecnico ispirato ed una colonna sonora semplicemente meravigliosa. Il gameplay, però, appare fin troppo limitato ed accessorio, soprattutto per via del battle system, noioso e poco convincente. Se siete pronti a chiudere un occhio su queste magagne, troverete qui una bella storia che vi riporterà nel mondo di Nier. Se invece il gameplay è per voi un elemento fondamentale in un gioco, potete tranquillamente guardare altrove.

  Nier Reincarnation pre fanúšikov nie je sklamaním a je veľmi nápaditým doplnkom skvele rozbehnutej a výnimočnej série. Veľmi dobre vystihuje jej netradičného ducha a aj keď zdanlivo nemá veľa spoločné s predchodcami, v tých dôležitých aspektoch má veľa rovnakých prvkov – kvalitný príbeh, zaujímavé postavy, dobre spracovaný zvrat a mnoho ďalšieho. Akurát by to všetko oveľa lepšie vyznelo, keby sa to dalo jednoducho kúpiť a hrať. Takto musíte veľa času tráviť s činnosťami, ktoré nie sú zábavné, aby ste sa dostali k samotnému hraniu.
