- GREAT The Enhanced Edition isn’t a major overhaul, some original issues like the clunky UI and awkward camera still persist.
Joelle Daniels · Jul 16, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition doesn't roll very high on effort for its "enhancements," but it does bring a classic adventure back for those with the taste to pursue it.
· Jul 16, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A well-remastered fantasy romp across familiar tropes; just be prepared to accept the game systems are straight out of 2006.
· Jul 15, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Bugs like this would test the patience of Gandhi, let alone that of a sweary Glaswegian like me. Like KotOR 2 before it, Neverwinter Nights 2 promises much without quite delivering its full potential. It's a shame, as it could have been the Elminster of computerised AD&D games. Instead, it turned out to be Volo...
Iain McCafferty · Nov 30, 2006 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The game does have some flaws, but it still has an enjoyable adventure worth traveling for RPG D&D fans. It is graphically very nice, has solid sound and has addicting gameplay. Much fun to be had here, with the entertainment factors far outweighing the few flaws the game has.
jkdmedia · Nov 26, 2006 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Anyone looking for a lengthy, complex, and engaging single player role playing experience should look no further than Neverwinter Nights 2. Thanks to the inclusion of fully controllable characters, there's plenty of enjoyable tactical combat to be conducted in the many dungeons the game runs you through. On top of that, there's an interesting storyline buffered by hours of fully voiced dialogue, an excellent soundtrack, good writing, and strong characters.
Charles Onyett · Nov 03, 2006 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The excellent story, characters, and quests will appeal to your sense of adventure without getting overly convoluted. The many paths you can take through the lengthy single-player campaign are enough to make this game worth your money, but when you factor in the multiplayer and the editing tools you'll find that Neverwinter Nights 2 is a fantastic value and a thoroughly enjoyable game.
Greg Mueller · Nov 01, 2006 Reviewed on PCRead full review - While its design is starting to show its age a little, the engine is far from perfect and so on and so forth and so bloody whining, there's still enough of the magic here which will reduce the seasoned PC role-playing gamer to rapture. It's not the future of PC gaming, but a glorious slice of the recent past. This may be the last adventure like this you'll ever go on.
