- Honestly, MouseCraft was an easy puzzle game. It was almost too easy. Yet, I often found myself stuck because I tried to be a completionist in getting all the shards. Some levels were super easy but there would be one shard I couldn’t quite reach. Whether I was overthinking it or not, it was easy for me to remain on the same level for a bit.

Mousecraft is based on a light-hearted cartoonish story that manages to be family-friendly. Each series of levels manages to introduce new concepts that make levels feel non-repetitive.
Scott Jeslis · Mar 03, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Thankfully, many of these gripes are minor, and they didn’t affect my overall enjoyment of MouseCraft’s clever puzzles. If you’re a fan of puzzle games, don’t miss Crunching Koalas’ brilliant remix. MouseCraft drops you into a series of challenges that will initially make you feel like a mouse trapped in a maze. But after working your way through these environments, you’ll feel like a mad scientist who can’t be stopped.
Ben Reeves · Aug 05, 2014 Reviewed on PC - Forgoing the sort of melon-twisting substance that has seen many code-cracking gamers pull their hair out in favor of a pick-up-and-play puzzler with plenty of Pixar-flavored appeal, MouseCraft is usually a fun little romp. Much like that block of Muenster in the back of your fridge, though, it's a game you'll likely forget about a week after you buy it.
Matt Cabral · Jul 21, 2014 Reviewed on PC, PS4, PS3, VitaRead full review - The game itself is a short one but is far lengthened by a player who has an interest in completing the puzzles rather than just marking them as 'done'. Community-created levels obviously also have the potential to boost the game content in new ways although Workshop integration will be key here. A robust puzzler then, but one ultimately lacking in charisma.
Philippa Warr · Jul 15, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - MouseCraft is a surprisingly fun and challenging puzzle game that works great on the Vita. It is also a cross-buy title with the PS3/PS4 and your saves can transfer across platforms. The well thought out levels and head-scratching difficulty come together to create an experience that will both make you smile as well as pound your head against the wall. I highly recommend it.
Brad Gruetzmacher · Jul 15, 2014 Reviewed on VitaRead full review - Even still, solutions are rarely, if ever, obvious, and the strength of the game comes from its capability of finding good ways to stump players even with its relatively simple set of tools.
Phil Hornshaw · Jul 14, 2014 Reviewed on PC - MouseCraft is a thoughtful puzzle game with challenging levels and some clever features. While customizable controls and a little more information on the level-select screen would have removed some significant annoyances, the overall enjoyment of easily being able to drop in to any level (including some I made myself) and guide my mice to their prize is good fun.
Leah B. Jackson · Jul 11, 2014 Reviewed on PC, PS4Read full review - MouseCraft is built on a very interesting premise, combining traditional logic puzzle design with the spatial reasoning of Tetris. The overall difficulty curve is somewhat uneven, and the presentation maybe just a touch too languid, but it's hard to overlook the satisfaction of (literally) putting the pieces together and cracking the solution to a tough puzzle. If you want to work your brain for a few minutes, MouseCraft is a good choice (especially on Vita).
Richard Mitchell · Jul 11, 2014 Reviewed on Vita - Despite a bit of repetition and one creepy voyeuristic cat, MouseCraft is a puzzler with brains to spare. The levels are smart, fast, and fun, and the flexible victory conditions let players play the way they want to without being confined to repeating the same stage over and over. Gamers hungry for a bit of creative/critical thinking should most definitely put out the cheese and let this mouse come out to play.
