- I can understand why no one's playing. Mortal Kombat's nasty tone and preposterously be-boobed characters were enough to put me off sinking time into really learning a character. Even if you can punch through that discomfort, it's not as balanced or nuanced as PC-punching-king Street Fighter IV.
Rich McCormick · Sep 13, 2013 Reviewed on PCRead full review - With all that content, an in-depth Story mode, and a wide range of modes to play through, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is one of the most complete fighting games around. It looks fantastic on PC too, and while there aren't a lot of graphical options to tweak, even those with less than cutting edge hardware will have no trouble running the game smoothly.
Mark Walton · Jul 19, 2013 Reviewed on PCRead full review - If you're looking to buy Mortal Kombat for $60 and you have to choose between the standard edition and the Komplete Edition, then the choice is clear. If you've already got the game, or are looking to grab it at a price that's more in line with current industry standards, you'd be better served by waiting for the Komplete Edition to drop to at least $40. This is a superb game in a mildly disappointing new package.
Jonathan Holmes · Apr 24, 2012 Reviewed on PS3Read full review - Overall Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for the Xbox 360 is a must-own for fighter fans and fans of the franchise. The visuals are impressive and those over the top Mortal Kombat gory kills are back and better than ever. The developers did not hold back with the installment in the best-selling fighting series as the children absolutely need to leave the room when the fights begin or at the very least when the fights wrap-up.
