· Feb 19, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Because the breeding happens in between the game's fantastic runs, it's hard for me to come to a firm consensus on how I feel about Mewgenics. Its combat mechanics truly stand out, and in isolation, might make it one of my favorite games of the year. But even though those hours and hours of combat comprise almost all of my playtime, the odd, upsetting creative decisions stick with me. Despite Mewgenics' best attempts to kill my appetite, dozens and dozens of hours in, I'm still hungry for another run.

· Feb 15, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Mewgenics is a deep, weird, and endlessly rewarding tactics roguelike. If you enjoy complex systems, emotional progression, and dark humor, it is worth every hour.

Jason Rodriguez · Feb 10, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Mewgnics is a wonderful blend of unsettling comedy, topped off with impressively tight RPG gameplay. The irreverent charm, deep mechanics, and grotesque art style combine to create a memorable, distinctive, and pleasingly dark title, generous in its replayability and irreverence.
· Feb 10, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A new indie game from the makers of The Binding Of Isaac may seem a frivolous tale of magical furballs but it’s actually one of the most deeply complex strategy titles of recent years.
· Feb 10, 2026 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Mewgenics is a fantastic tactical RPG that's good for more than a hundred hours of roguelike runs. Just when you think you have it figured out it'll throw something completely unexpected and hilariously gross at you – and probably a catchy new original song, too.
