- A likeable protagonist, new abilities and a personal, down-to-earth story made up for the fact Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shorter than its 2018 predecessor. It’s a game with enough qualities to stand on its own, one that proves that Miles isn’t just some fluke character being pushed by Marvel over the past few years.
Leo Faria · Dec 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - You’ll be treated to a fairly meaty game with a lot of side content to explore as well. We enjoyed zoning out while swinging through the city, busting bad guys, and finding collectibles. We will certainly be playing this one again in the future.
Ibuki · Dec 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales is a more streamlined experience than its predecessor. With a smaller roster of characters, it gives a more focused, emotionally charged story with its various twists and turns. I would still recommend giving the first game a go, as it really compliments this game’s strength story-wise. But if you would skip that and get right down to this Spidey’s story, then it shouldn’t be a problem. It is still a great superhero adventure in its own right.
Franz Anthony Galeon · Dec 01, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - I still recommend playing Insomniac's first Spider-Man, purely because it compliments the strength of this game's story. But for those who just want to kick it around a wintry New York, sling past skyscrapers at breakneck speed, and kick bad-guy butt, Miles Morales should be your one true Spider-Man. It's easily the hero's best adventure to date, and it won't eat up a ton of your time either.
Mollie Taylor · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Whether it's your first time swinging through the city as Miles Morales or you're double dipping on the PC version after playing through once on PlayStation, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an excellent experience on PC.
Diego Perez · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It's an improvement, but Miles Morales would benefit from more work here to run better with slower CPUs. In spite of that, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is as fantastic a port as Spider-Man: Remastered while also benefiting from the additional time Nixxes has had since the original release.
Alessandro Barbosa · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed onRead full review - The story is perfect to experience during the holiday season as well. It has been about two years since its PlayStation debut, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has aged brilliantly. It is yet another ‘perfect on Steam Deck’ experience from Sony.
Mikhail Madnani · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - PC owners are getting some improvements over the PS5 iteration — even more than the previous Spider-Man title at its launch. The standard things from Sony are here, like ultrawide support, uncapped frame rate, and full HDR support. Ray-traced reflections can be turned up to its highest setting, but for those not sporting the latest video card and CPU, turning down the presets a tick can create some magic. Various forms of DLSS and DLAA are here, including AMD's FSR 2.1, so Radeon owners aren't left out of performance gains via upscaling.
Cody Medellin · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in acting as a short middle chapter between Marvel’s Spider-Man and its upcoming sequel, doesn’t really have the luxury to introduce radical new concepts that might turn the game on its head. Rather, it’s a fun, short romp through New York once again, but this time as a new protagonist. Its tightly-paced plot tells a great coming of age story for a new Spider-Man, and its greatest strength is the fun ensemble cast.
Shunal Doke · Nov 18, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a technical spectacle on PC, with frame rates that reach the moon or because it’s one of the best-looking games I’ve played on the platform. While the price point is a negotiable evil, the final product is a masterpiece, especially in light of the first game’s PC port coming out a few months ago.
