- A decent but cliched mob story and bland, frustrating gameplay make this the weakest Mafia yet.
Joshua Wolens · Dec 08, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Mafia: The Old Country is a conventional but effective return to the linear and tightly story-driven format of the original Mafia and Mafia II, and it boasts a wonderful eye and ear for detail.
Luke Reilly · Aug 27, 2025 Reviewed on PC, PS5, Series X|SRead full review - Mafia: The Old Country is a mostly triumphant return to the long-running franchise, even if it’s very different from its previous entries.
· Aug 19, 2025 Reviewed on PCRead full review - HIGH An exceptional narrative. LOW Technical issues. WTF Learning new curse words in Italian!
· Aug 18, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Mafia: The Old Country is one of the most gripping and emotional mob tales you’re likely to find in any game. Its memorable cast of characters had me itching for the next cutscene, and the serene Sicilian valley is stunning.
Nathan Warby · Aug 15, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Mafia: The Old Country moves along at a breakneck speed; so fast that it perhaps doesn’t allow for enough time to smell the roses. Even when you have the opportunity to move away from the set path, you will continually get pulled back to the main story. I loved the journey and the story, and I think the price point reflects the 10-hour journey of the game.
Gareth Brierley · Aug 13, 2025 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Mafia continues to feel a tad dated in its design trappings, but there's beauty, efficiency and nuanced performances here that are well worth your time.
Alex Donaldson · Aug 13, 2025 Reviewed on PC, Series X|SRead full review - Verdict 7 10 0 1 Mafia: The Old Country strips back much of what weighed Hanger 13's previous entry down.
· Aug 13, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - If you're craving an action-adevnture game in the abscense of GTA VI, then check out our review for Take Two and Hanger 13's Mafia: The Old Country.
Tommy Holloway · Aug 12, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - The fourth Mafia game is a prequel to the whole series, set in Sicily at the turn of the 20th century, and featuring some amazing graphics and performances.
