- Luigi's Mansion 3: Multiplayer Pack Part 2 is more of the same. There are a few more minigames and a few more costumes, but that's it. The addition of Floaty Frenzy makes this set of minigames stand out from the others, but otherwise, you're not exactly overwhelmed with new content. It's a good DLC to purchase if you're a big fan of the multiplayer in Luigi's Mansion 3, but otherwise, there's nothing here for people who feel that they've exhausted the fun in Luigi's Mansion 3.
Chris "Atom" DeAngelus · May 07, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Luigi’s Mansion 3 is set in one of the most unique and creative locations you will ever see crammed under one roof. The diversity in style makes this feel like a dozen games crammed into one. There are times it feels like it may have been better to have fewer floors with more content put into the more interesting themes. As it is, there is still a huge amount of content with something for everyone.
Dan Hastings · Apr 02, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The next batch of Luigi's Mansion 3 DLC, Multiplayer Pack - Part 2, is set to add even more ScreamPark mini-games to the lineup, as well as more ScareScraper costumes. Some fans may prefer to see Nintendo release story DLC instead, but those who like the multiplayer will find a lot to like here. Having more mini-games to play makes Luigi's Mansion 3 double as a party game for those willing to spend the extra cash, and it's not a bad investment by any means.
Dalton Cooper · Mar 08, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Luigi’s latest adventure. The Nintendo Switch is already home to plenty of great games, but Luigi’s Mansion 3 falls under the “absolutely essential” category. If you own a Switch, you simply have to give this game a whirl.
Justin Sharp · Dec 04, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Luigi’s Mansion 3 is far and away the best entry in the series. It uses a familiar formula with a unique twist to create a single player adventure worthy of the quality we come to expect from Nintendo’s first party lineup. The stellar animation and presentation are unmatched, and the addition of co-op play is a huge bonus. Nintendo continues to deliver exemplary titles for its newest console. It almost feels like they can do no wrong on Switch. Yet another game that Switch owners should not miss out on.
Ken McKown · Nov 21, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a very enjoyably game. Its combat is fun, exploration satisfying, and its puzzles are interesting. Enemy variety may be lacking and puzzles may be too easy at times, but the overall package still shines regardless of flaws, especially when playing co-op. The multiplayer was also surprisingly a lot of fun, where the game’s weaknesses are negligible and the roguelike nature of the ScreamScraper keeps you coming back for more.
Thomas Medina · Nov 17, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - It doesn’t change our mind that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is the best Switch game of 2019. We had an absolute blast exploring the stunning hotel, hoovering up ghosts, and taking on some of the most well-designed bosses we’ve encountered in some time – and that’s all without mentioning the storytelling and animation, which never failed to make us chuckle.
Freddie Green · Nov 14, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Fun puzzles and some truly spectacular designs for each of Luigi's Mansion 3's hotel floors make it a fun title for any Switch owner. It's also visually spectacular, but the combat is a bit bland and multiplayer offers no fun.
Austin Suther · Nov 11, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - This full-fledged sequel delivers on just about every aspect from gameplay, to visuals, and especially to giving players a well-crafted, spooky adventure of puzzle-solving and exploration. Though I hope we get a return trip to the series sometime sooner rather than later, Luigi’s Mansion 3 shows better than ever that Luigi is more than capable of carrying his own game, even one that’s meant to give us happiness at his expense.
Ryan Meitzler · Nov 09, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Luigi’s Mansion 3 doesn’t get the series where it needs to be, but it certainly moves it closer to that goal. The game oozes charm in every way possible. And speaking of ooze, Gooigi is a great addition for single players and co-op fans alike. Combat is simplified though, and puzzles can become quite frustrating and tedious. The game also likes to rain on your parade a bit too often as well, tossing roadblocks in your way when a bit of celebration or relaxation is more in need. If this sounds passable to you though, you’re in for a truly spooky treat.
