- Life Goes On could use a last pass in a aspects of its controls, but the puzzle design is what makes the game work so well. Spiked conveyor belts carry bodies to pressure switches, but only if you can figure out how to turn off the flamethrowers to avoid incineration.
James · May 08, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The overall presentation is a bit generic, but functional. Although the art style and music will not amaze anybody, they fit the theme of an ego-inflated monarch well enough, and the bright colors used for traps and switches convey how a particular level works without much confusion.
Darren Nakamura · Apr 29, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - My favorite part of Life Goes On is its credits sequence. I don't say that to be mean: it really does have a great in-game credits sequence, and beating a puzzle game is always a little satisfying. I don't feel like I accomplished very much, though. Life Goes On is too easy to recommend to adults, and I don't think it was meant for kids, either. It's just a great idea that fails in execution, leaving its potential dangling from the spikes.
Tyler Wilde · Apr 26, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - If you're violently allergic to puzzle games, Life Goes On won't miraculously cure you. But as long as you're open to the idea of having your mind engaged more than your trigger finger, this melon-twister's wicked personality alone might be enough to pull you into its death grip.
Matt Cabral · Apr 17, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - LifeGoesOn offers some thought provoking puzzling in amongst its mass-suicide. Levels do start feeling a bit samey as you get through it, but it’s certainly worth a try.
Oliver Roderick · Jan 02, 2019 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The game is very fun, quite funny and easy to play. The lack of a story of any type is a bit of a downer, but that and given its accessibility and ‘just one more’ appeal, make this perhaps more suited to a mobile title than a full PC release. There are about fifty levels, but given some of them only take about one minute you could potentially be finished in an hour. There is some replay value in doing speed runs and trying to get all of the twenty-one Steam achievements, but little apart from that.
Andrew Duncan · Apr 29, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - All in all, Life Goes On is a fun little puzzle game with a lot of charm and humor. As a debut title, it shows a lot of promise, and I look forward to seeing Infinite Monkeys' next project.
VGChartz Staff · Apr 23, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - An inventive and outlandish puzzler that executes with bloodthirstily aplomb. Clever and fiendish puzzles with a well paced learning curve. Exceptional splatstick core premise.

About the game
Life Goes On is a comically-morbid platformer where you guide heroic knights to their demise and use their dead bodies to solve puzzles. On your quest to find the Cup of Life, you will summon knight after knight to be brutally sacrificed. Impale knights on spikes to create a safe path. Catch a knight on a saw blade (ouch!) to strategically land the body on a button. Freeze your knights into blocks of ice to reach higher ground. As you journey through treacherous and trap-ridden worlds, you’ll show no mercy to solve each challenging puzzle.
In Life Goes On, death is not a setback. It is the only means to success.
