Although there are a few frustrations along the way, Legacy Quest is an addicting and exciting title that blends character building and dungeon crawling into one superb hand-held ARPG.

Legacy Quest features truly unique, retro-style blocky graphics that look rather sharp and are quite appealing visually. Gameplay is rather easy to get into and quite fun. Legacy Quest requires a pretty powerful device to run decently. There’s nothing new here, gameplay-wise. This game also tends to crash and not load completely. The in-game controls are rather wonky.

Legacy Quest would have greatly benefited from a unique mechanic that could have been used to set itself apart from other generic dungeon crawlers, but instead, its one trick is just a fancy way of giving the player another opportunity to spend money on the game. Combine that with the clunky menus and all-too familiar gameplay, and dungeon crawling gamers have no shortage of better options on mobile.

Legacy Quest is a fun, fairly well polished hack-and-slasher that never does anything out of the ordinary, never outreaches itself, and gets pretty repetitive after a few hours. But at the same time it offers some neat, bite-sized portions of violence that work pretty darn well on mobile. Is it worth your time? Sure, so long as you don't mind spending that time in a bunch of places you've probably visited before.

Gli elementi ruolistici di Legacy Quest sono piuttosto solidi, sia per quanto riguarda la gestione del personaggio che il sistema di bottini e di crafting. C'è dunque una buona base sotto a tutta l'impalcatura, che purtroppo risulta però appesantita dall'organizzazione delle microtransazioni e da un'interfaccia non proprio immediata
