  • Kingdom Rush is the first in a series of highly popular tower defense games where we are called to defend the realm of Linirea from the minions of the wizard Vez’nan. In our arsenal, we have barracks, mages, archers, and artillery towers, which we use to defeat the orcs, goblins, and other enemies rushing through our kingdom.

  • Kingdom Rush comes to gather all the good and the best of the defense genre so far, and put it into a beautiful package of colorful cartoon-like graphics with a pretty red lace made up of huge bosses and a deep skill tree that will satisfy even the most hardcore defense gamers.

  • Kingdom Rush is superb tower defense, marrying the best ingredients of the genre with a strong sense of style and craft. Highly recommended.

  • The depth of strategy, the potential to tweak and experiment with your upgrade load-outs, the wonderful artwork, and everything else the developer has managed to somehow cram into this tiny package all add up to one very special game in an incredibly saturated genre. If you couldn't play Kingdom Rush the first time around, you owe it to yourself to play it now.

Kingdom Rush is an instant classic and is guaranteed to turn up on 2012 "best of" lists. Anyone remotely interested in either tower defense or strategy should consider it a most-own. Gamers that think they don't enjoy the genre should give Kingdom Rush a shot anyway – it might just win you over.

  • Kingdom Rush deserves a lot of goodwill, simply because it’s able to make tower defense gameplay feel fresh and fun. In addition to the deep, challenging gameplay, the game’s production values are simply outstanding. This is easily one of the best tower defense games currently in the App Store. Check it out; you won’t be sorry.

  • Overall, however, Kingdom Rush is a fantastic package. It's a game that made me take notice, that made a well-trod genre seem a bit fresher and more interesting than it's been in a while. Its presentation is top notch, too.

  • Kingdom Rush offers enough variety in towers and enemies to take up more than a few minutes of someone's time, especially those who enjoy a very well done tower defense game. And this is one of them making it an easy recommendation to buy.

  • It is simple but compelling, and when you are down to your last HP and a horde of enemies are bearing down on you, it gets extremely tense. It may not be the longest game in the world, but unlockable difficulties certainly up the ante, so if you are looking for a decent tower defense game with which to spend a bit of time, Kingdom Rush may just scratch that itch.

  • Mobile hit Kingdom Rush is right at home on the Switch, with art that pops on all screen sizes, and smooth Joy-Con and touch controls. Though simple in formula, levels have a steep challenge, multiple difficulties, and excellent pacing.
